I can see Avery going with a super versatile lineup in the fourth. Lopez, Evans, Humphries, Blatche, Johnson. Super-sized line up!

Lopez is gonna have to play out of his mind for us to have a shot at stealing this game.

So Wallace is out again so Keith Bogans will be guarding Lebron.

Wallace was in a walking boot on Monday. There was no way that he was going to play today and he's probably going to be out of our next game too.

Stefan Bondy @NYDNInterNets
Avery also indicated the team is not in game shape, specifically Brook Lopez, who missed most of last season

What the f*ck was preseason for then? What was training camp for? What was this "5 weeks" in September workouts for?

The team isn't in game shape?

See, it's stuff like this, added with the utter garbage that takes place on the court, that makes me say that Avery Johnson is an embarrassment to his profession. This guy has NO BUSINESS coaching this team. The Knicks look in game shape....and they also looked like they are being properly coached.

HUGE DIFFERENCE.

It's hard to be optimistic going into this game when this team barely beat Toronto and got embarrassed by the Wolves w/o Love and Rubio.

We are by far the worst coached team in the league, offensively we are stifled by the coaching staff's utterly clueless offensive philosophy, and defensively we are atrocious. I have no idea what Lopez is going to do against Bosh tonight, on defense we are screwed and on offense, even though I don't think that Bosh can defend Brook the Nets offense is predictable and stagnant. They will simply swarm him and force the Nets into tough shots. I can't believe after all of this hype, $ spent by ownership, etc etc we're doing the same things that lead to losses and ineptitude.

If we win this game, it will be on sheer talent alone, and our talent doesn't size up well when you have Lebron, Wade, and Bosh out there, nevermind Ray Allen who I predict will bury us from three tonight. If Deron, Brook, Joe, Brooks, and Watson don't bring it offensively this will be ugly.

If we lose by less than 15, I will be shocked.

Did I miss something? In what world will Wallace playing mean Lebron won't have a field day? It's Lebron....

Now, he changes his quote

Stefan Bondy ‏@NYDNInterNets
Avery: “We need to get in better effort-shape, and I think once we get in better-effort-game-shape, you’ll see the results change.”

Stop it, Avery. Just stop.

Proky already said that this is an important year for Avery. He controls his own destiny.

"better effort-shape, better-effort-game-shape"

lmao wtf?

We need to put Toko on Lebron, he's our Lebron-Stopper.

Toko is probably in good-effort-stopping-Lebron-battling-shape.
