When is it time to pick up Rose from the pool?

I play in a 14people H2H 8 cat league. Rose is set to return mid February or so. When do you think it's good time to pick him up? Any updates on his time table? Is beginning of January gonna be the right time before anyone else steals him?

If you have a free IR spot and you can make several matchup acquisitions throughout the week, I'd be a good idea to pick him up and stash him on your IR. If not, then I wouldn't touch him until 2 or 3 weeks at most before he returns. Even when he does play, his minutes will be limited and won't be at 100% for a while.

If your league is using playoff format and you look to be in good shape for a playoff spot, then maybe you can take a bigger risk and pick him up earlier. Chances are, we will only see the Rose of old for about 4 or so weeks this season. However, they are also the most important four weeks (fantasy playoff time).
