The Nets could go from lottery team to contender overnight, by adding a declining JJ? What were these "analysts" thinking? It took the Celts adding two future HOF's in their prime to join Paul Pierce(a player who was better than anyone the nets currently have) just to pull that off. Unbelievable.

Hopefully Billy gave that interview about team building before yesterdays game.

But as I mentioned to Net fans during that original who is better thread...it was preposterous that they and most of the media expected them to gel right away and almost as preposterous that they refused to acknowledge the Nets clear defensive woes and Joe Johnsons isolation tendencies.

Maybe people will learn something from this...starting with S'ing TFU.

JOE JOHNSON IS IN THE SAME TALENT POOL AS JAMAL CRAWFORD YET HE IS SOOOOO OVERHYPED AND I'M SICK OF IT.

Don't usually post in caps to get my point across, but YES I was yelling.

I was shocked that some actually felt the Nets were a better team, and while i respect their decisions to leave the Knicks, i can only smh at them.

They built a team that has little interest in defense, and "the best backcourt"? Lulz.

There's no question about the talent the Nets have on the team, but you can't just throw a whole bunch of guys together and expect them to immediately come out clicking. The Knicks have been trying to do that for 12 years now, same with about 60-70% of the other teams in the NBA. But BOOM the Brooklyn Nets apparently don't need any of that weening period. I'm from Queens originally and live on Long Island now but I'm pretty sure they still have gel in Brooklyn like they do everywhere else.

johnson and deron don't mesh well, they both need the ball in their hands and if it were up to me i'd want the ball in deron's hands all the time

No stephen a smith is slowly jumping on the knicks bandwagon. Before the season started he was saying brooklyn would be better and telling the knicks to be carefull. Lol ryan is making me mad as well not giving credit to knicks on beating the heat. He was saying the heat had 21 turnovers. Cmon man the knicks are the reason they had 21 turnoverrs. Aslo he said that wade didnt want to play the game cuz of the hurricane. And the whole knicks team that went through the hurricane wanted to play. Cmon man i swear the knicks will never get their credit.

What the heck has happened to Deron Williams?Ever since joining NJ he has looked like a different player...and not in a good way...he's way less effective than he used to be. very odd...
