Man does Parsons look bad or what? I know it's only been 4 games so far, but I was lobbying for him as our SF for the future but now it's definitely not looking like that. Still would like him in the rotation in the long-run but as a backup rather than the starter. I guess now we don't really have much choice but to make him the starter since we dont have any other SF's that can defend.

Fact of the matter is we need one more big time player. The Rockets last season got by on solid depth with a balanced roster. Since we've lost almost all of our bench this season, we need to compensate with more star players. Or somehow time warp and bring back Budinger and Lowry. By the way, in hindsight, giving up Budinger was a complete waste. It'd be really nice to have him in the rotation right now.

first of all, we keep playing like this we'll get a top 10 pick at the very least, so i dont mind

if this team wants to be worth a daam this season, they need to MOVE THE **** BALL!!!!!!!!!! move off the ball, have some kind of motion offense. less iso's, and play the rookies. bench is weak so play the rooks in short spurts. and lin needs to be more aggressive. i cant believe they were just standing there watching harden ball hog

this game could be their new and improved gameplan of "lets make Mr. E suffer". it makes sense. they had 3 days off and practiced on those days, denver is on a b2b. so we should've won this right? WRONG! they decided to lose by being stupid as hell with all that chucking and iso's. they threw a few mind f**ks at us with patterson going 2-4 from 3, and asik gettin a double double

mr e if u got a good look at motie, did he look 7ft tall? and did he have a sf like frame?

Lin is being ridiculously passive too though. He's passing up opportunities when he gets the ball, and seems almost content with spotting up from behind the three point line. I hope there's that combination of aggressiveness + more touches in the next game...

Speaking of the next game, Harden has got Tony Allen on him next game.

This. If Harden is strugggling offensively, Lin should look for his shot. We know he's capable of scoring big and being content looking for assists aint gonna cut it in that situation. And it will take the D off Harden to boot, opening him up if the D adjusts. So the assist he's after will be avail too.

And btw Lin's D on Gallo was the lulz. So much potential if he works at it. And 6 steals is not bad at all.

Denver is a good team. Their on the ball D is actually really good with Lawson and Iggie. Faried seems like he can D up 3s and 4s, if not 2s for stretches. We match up poorly already, and Denver having much better depth, I was surprised we came back in the third and fourth and hung in until the end.

Harden needs to not buy into his own hype. Some of those possessions were just bad basketball.

You guys have the second worst coach in the league by a mile.

They were rockin' a Lin-Harden backcourt. In the span of 3 days, McHale managed to turn that into a Harden-centric fail circus. I think it is obvious that Lin is frustrated out there with the coaching stupidity, but he is too smart to say anything about it. Either McHale adjusts quickly and turns it back into a two-man show or McHale is going to be gone in short order. We shall see.

Yeah, good coaches don't have much of an impact on performance, but goddarnit, bad coaches certainly do.

defense:
Asik will block some shots from time to time, but he's not a big leaper, so players are not afraid of him blocking everything

offense:
too predictable
basically just Harden or Lin play pick-and-roll with Asik, and the other 3 guys stand behind the 3 pts line
this will work if you have 3 great shooters
old Suns team with Nash and Marion/Johnson/Richardson day
not going to work if you have two guys shooting less than 30% (sorry Patterson/Parsons/Morris)
Delfino seems like the best shooter but since his first game he's been ice cold
and cut down the turnover
we won the first two games because Detroit is bad team and Harden was on fire against Atlanta

Probably would come cheap too. Would make this a .500 team. 8th seed.

you are right, i do not like that

i wouldn't mind if he weren't so expensive...20+ million for him while declining? please nooooo

Lin needs to have personality to impose his basketball.
Harden is not collective basketball and harm the team.
Amare and Carmelo can not play together and now seems Lin and Harden also that not.
They are occupying the same space.
