That CP3 jumper gets us to 100 first and you know what that means

I figure Blake's elbow is bothering him, but I didn't expect him to struggle this much tonight.

The first half was pretty but the second half wasn't. Clippers win in Portland 103-90

I'm not sure if I said this in this forum or another, but I have to retract my statement from a few days ago saying DJ has taken a step back instead of improving. He's impressed me these last two games and its obvious he's improved a lot, feeling very comfortable with the ball in his hands.

My favorite move tonight was the one where he caught it underneath the basket, took a little dribble to duck under the defender and dunk it home. The old DJ would have tried to dunk the ball as soon as he got it and he probably would have gotten blocked.

Since 9 turnover first game of the season, Jordan has had 6 turnovers in 5 games. Glad to see rebounding back in action, actually it seems like the team is pounding the opposition on the glass.

Also, going into the game, DJ was averaging 14.4 points / 36. After today's game, he's averaging 16.7 pts, 10.6 rebs, 3.5 blks per 36 minutes and shooting 75% FG. Only issue he's had is 4.9 fouls / 36 and poor FT shooting outside of tonight.

I'm not complaining, I'll take the wins however we can get them. I was expecting Portland to make a run, I just didn't want them to get as close as they did.

first half was a thing of beauty...second, not so much. but on the road vs a good team cant expect it to be easy. glad to see how we were able to pull away at the end and lock up another solid W.
DJ, good lord these past 2 games have been amazing. Most improved player of the year? and crossover did his thing again.
i think our guys are realizing they need to play like this every game, sure games like we had vs GS and Cle will happen, but you gotta minimize those. we still should be 5-1 or 6-0, but its early, and ill take 4-2.

DJ 20+ points again, wow.

Great to see us fight out a win like that. Blake didn't do much but got some nice steals and grabbed 10 boards again. I imagine his elbow is still frustrating him.

im so glad griffin's lack luster output on the offense didn't stop him from rebounding and defending.

i like where him and dre are headed on this defensive side of the ball.
i mean...i think they finally understand what elite 4 and 5 man defense can do for a team.

Jamaal Crawford is a lot more well-spoken than I originally thought. He's definitely growing on me.

Chris Jr is having an experience of a lifetime. Imagine growing up that way... First memories are being in an NBA lockerroom with some of the best basketball players in the world, and his dad ready to teach him everything he knows.
