Kobe Bryant was part of the 2004 meltdown. What's going to be the excuse this year? Fire Mike Brown? No real PG when they got Steve Nash? Gasol is too soft? Even with Superman on the roster, Kobe is still trying to run his 1-man show. The guy won't change. He's still a bonafide chucker, a team killer, and a narcissistic ****.

still very early last place and only 3 games back - i think mike brown will get fire and gasol traded - not to us we have nothing the lakers want nothing which is good

very interesting what oj mayo is doing in dallas playing great for 4m also interensting to see what kaman is doing last night he had a great game , that was an option for morey just keep same roster and add kaman in the off season and than improve team during the season

lowry,martin,parson,scola,kaman>>>>>>>>>> current rockets lineup
fire morey please ,the sooner the better.....ryan Anderson is a 3 not a 4

You know, Jerry Sloan decided not to go after positions opened around the league in the summer because he's gambling on Brown losing his job. Should be interesting.

I think there was also a source from hoopsworld, however unreliable they are. Mike Brown is not sitting pretty right now.

It's not Mike Brown's fault. The Lakers just aren't very good this year.

Most coaches don't have much of an impact. I have them at around 47 wins.
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

lakers has no bench
they should bring gasol and world peace off the bench
they need 3pts shooter to spread the court for howard to work inside

i was living in houston before the championship day
houston back then wasn't title contender but got hakeem and still a playoff team
i can get really cheap ticket easily to go watch (like $20, around mid section) because no one watch them
after they won the champ
it was so difficult to even get a ticket
even my non-sport fan cousin want to go watch (he had no idea why some basket count only 1 and some 2 and some 3 pts, he has no idea home team wear white or light color)
problem with houston people is they don't care about you when you are not winning
that's why i understand why les/morey don't want to tank
but fastest way to get out of the slump is to tank for a superstar
i know it's playing luck but still better than stuck in the middle
it will be worse before it get better

Mike brown fired...if they hire Sloan? That is like a perfect storm for rockets hatred...Sloan on the lakers?

All they need to do is hire Malone and Stockton at staff positions and it would be a world wide apocalypse type of hatred for the lakers...all my most hated basketball entities on one team...#1 being gasol!!!

The Lakers have a six game home stand against mediocre teams starting today...if they had kept Mike Brown around for that, there's a good chance they do pretty well...and they COULDN'T fire him. This also makes the decision look much better...

This will be the trend for the Lakers the next 6ish games, all at home against mediocre to below average teams. Should make Brown look even worse when they pick up a bunch of wins -- which is funny because the Lakers were playing pretty poorly today, its just that the Warriors are literally missing everything on WIDE OPEN looks (31% from the field).

yeah ever kam's boyfriend having a bad game. 8pts on 3-12 shooting. looking at his gamelog, this is his first bad shooting night this season. avg an insanely efficient 67fg% with 17ppg. so if there is ever a game we can use against landry to prove to kam trading him was a good move, this would be it. so uhh, HAHA KAM, LANDRY SUCKS!!!

they ddint even need dwight much, he logged 24min and 6pts. sheeesh, what the hell was mike brown doing to this team?
