He certainly looked the part yesterday, especially on that second goal he scored.

RDM really needs to sort out the double pivot. mikel and lampard just aren't working well together. unfortuntely we got rid of two of the other options in essien and meirelis. lamps doesnt need to be playing 90 minutes every single game, especially when we have two in a week. time to give romeu and ramires a look back there (or at least one of them).

stop playing ramires as a right winger. it doesnt work.

what has happened to ivanovic this season?

i cant wait to see more of oscar. he is easy to root for.

torres has one more game to get it going (at stoke). then its sturridge time.

Luiz signs a new 5-year contract

Chalobah starts his first game for Watford. Heard he had a great game, trying to find some clips

Schweini: D. Luiz went up for CFC's corner and said "and now goal" to him, then shrugged shoulders and said "sorry" on way back, meaning it

#Fluminense's young right-back Wallace has just been sold to Chelsea for €5.5m, but will stay at Flu until June, says 'Globo Esporte'. #CFC

Awesome news. I was more impressed with him than with Piazon tbh. He's the kid we already owned 40% of his rights to after Deco sale.

Wallace has upside and all the physical and technical tools to be a world class full back, but he's raw as hell, must develop his consistency and decision making. He's young but this is a huge aspect of football and he's inapt there. He's never been able to dominate at young squads, despite showing a lot of promise and talent.

I have been following Wallace since he's 15. I work with Paulo at Brazilian Research, I'm Fluminense reasearcher.

Ranked 5th in the world in revenues and finally (barely) made a profit after 8 years. CL win + not buying a 50M striker helped, but we'll probably be in the red again starting next year.

btw see what McEachran almost did today: http://cdn0.sbnation.com/imported_asset ... 481212.gif

If I had to guess, the figures were probably taken after the end of the financial year, so the summer definitely wasn't taken into account. Still though, first time we've made a profit in the Abramovich era is still something to be proud of.

I was watching that game, man he really looks a player, can't wait to see him contribute more to our first team hopefully next year. Especially since we got rid of Meirelles, and Robbie not being that keen on Essien should he come back.

Solid centre back. He's young so he gets a little more credit than deserves.
I think Brazilians have other things more urgent to complain about our National Team than David Luiz, seriously. Fullbacks, defensive midfield, ballhogging offense...

Save for my disliking of Mikel, I can't quite work out exactly what's wrong with our team, just the general areas. We're good in midfield, particularly going forwards, but Torres just doesn't seem to get into enough goal scoring opportunities and we're the weakest defensive Chelsea team I have seen since Michael Duberry played for us. I knew if we didn't kill off Liverpool, there was little chance of 1 goal being enough. I'm not sure whether our back four just aren't getting the defensive support from midfield or whether they're just sloppy at picking up assignments. I hope RDM focuses on defensive coaching for the next few weeks though.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Jeremie Boga is definitely a keeper. He has great dribbling skills and vision

There isn't really anything wrong. It's just a younger team with a many new pieces attempting develop cohesion within a new style. They may not be able to keep up with City and United. That wouldn't exactly be a failure on their part.

Having said that, i hate Chelsea for stealing our Champions League spot and hope they get relegated thrice over to League 2.

Any info on the arguments in the dressing room after the WBA game? RDM is already in a mire.

The dressing room row itself is probably something completely overblown by the media considering most players should have no reason to be upset with RDM. That said, I do think RDM is in huge pressure to deliver a good result tomorrow. Roman seems to be obsessed with Guardiola and the failure to advance to the KO stages probably does it.

Maybe if Shakhtar beats Juventus. Otherwise the club will probably buy someone cheaper like Schurrle.

But it would be pretty amazing if we bought Falcao and he won the Europa League again. 3 in 3 years with 3 different clubs lol
