Can't speak for everyone, but I'm not mad at all. I've accepted our rebuilding process and just going to continue to be the fan that I have been for the past 18 years and see if this can get turned around.

Darkhorse for the title? At least your team aren't bottom feeders anymore, that's something to be proud of I guess... :)[/quote]

The Mavs won the championship they were never thought of being a contending team... I see that with the Nets. Anyway, 18 years is a long time... Whose your favorite superstar that you lost? My favorite was Penny Hardaway... That combination of Shaq and Penny was lethal...

The first one wasn't a fluke. We had Nelson who can run an offense and were winning the entire game.

I agree that it wasn't a fluke. Unfortunately, it wasn't impressive considering how bad/average Denver has been this year.

This team can use Jameer's leadership on the floor in the worst way.

comments like this are upsetting. If you're watching magic basketball and hoping for a loss, perhaps you should question your fan hood. No doubt, I'd love to land a top 5 pick, but when I'm watching games i'm hoping for wins.

On another note, Harkless could definitely be a very special defensive player. After a year of game time and an off season in the gym he could be a solid guy.

I agree but Jameer isn't going to win us a game that we lost by 40. This team is just awful. Especially if Davis is going to go into inefficient hero mode.

Player development has to be the main goal this season....

We're going to lose, but we can't start a losing culture/develop bad habits.

Gotta play harder than we did tonight.

Losing while busting your ass is much easier to swallow than losing with your tail between your legs.

eh, no one WANTS to lose just to lose though. I'm sure everyone would love to win as many games as possible, just miss the playoffs and then win the lottery with that 1% chance. Unfortunately, the chances of landing the top pick increases with every loss.

Probably not, but I'm positive that we would not lose by that margin either. Besides Meer is a far better floor leader than Moore is which will help the offense and allow the other perimeter guys to play with their natural tendencies again.

Honestly these past two games have shown me that the end of the Bench guys have more energy than most of the starters and rotation guys. They show more fight even if it's garbage time. In my opinion the rotation going into sunday should be

Moore/Ish
Affalo/JJ
Dequan/Harkless/McRoberts
Baby/Nicholson/McRoberts
Vucevic/O'Quinn/Ayon

just get guys out there that want to fight and play hard. Not this trash play we're seeing with some of the Starters and Rotation guys. If we lose we lose but i can't tolerate watching games when we're mailing it in.

Yes I was disappointed. He's headed right back to the bench if he keeps that up.

While I agree, most, if not all players on the current roster won't be here in 4 years anyways if all goes according to plan.

Well, he's going back to the bench then because that's just his demeanor.

I'd assume most of the vets will be gone within two years.

If Nicholson and Harkless pan out, i'd hope they remain.

Player development has been a foreign concept for us the past few years.

We'll be competitive in games where BBD and JJ Redick have their "A" games. I really think it's that simple.

I would imagine that they would IF they pan out. I, for one, don't think they will.

What happened to the JJ and Big Baby pick n roll? Seems like Davis' only scoring opportunities have been 1on1 lately.

Harkless has miles to go offensively, and Nicholson has miles to go defensively.

If they put the work in and commit themselves, I'd hope they can reach their full potential.

Players with Harkless' skill set tend to be busts/very average players quite often.... I'd just hope that he can be an outlier with a solid development plan from our staff. He has time on his side.

Nicholson needs to hit the gym, but his offensive game is already pretty solid. He's going to have his physical limitations, but if he can balk up and work on his positioning, his rebounding and defense should at least be able to reach "average" levels.

I agree on Harkless. Earl Clark was very similar and was drafted even higher. We said the same things about Clark that we say about Harkless.
