Kyrie - MVP consideration?

Post#1 » by nurseryc » Sat Nov 10, 2012 11:32 am

What are your expectations of Kyrie, from what i can see he has so far surpassed what everyone thought. He's not just good but quickly becoming great in my opinion. Does anyone here think he could oneday be in league MVP consideration?

He will definitely be a candidate for MVP in the future when the team is talented enough to win more games. It's scary to believe that he will become an even better player than he is right now, and with a better supporting cast in the next few years, there is no doubt about that he will be considered.

Exactly what I was thinking Rise. He's one of the best number 1 picks in ages and he's only going to get better. His basketball iq is out of this world.

My expectations/ hope are that he becomes a better distributor once his supporting cast is strong enough.

Beyond that he has a legit chance at being an all star this season with Rose out and definitely an MVP candidate further down the line

^ Scoring is pretty down accross the bord but yeah. Hes still a season or two off top tier mvp type play, imo. But i thought rose was another year off and he just improved beyond sight and won it. In saying that we as a team are a fair way off being good enough to put him in a position to win it (record wise). Im thinking 14/15 is when he has a real shake at it.

I think sooner or later (more like sooner) Kyrie will start getting more and more MVP votes. As a Bulls fan, Kyrie has quickly became my second favorite player. You guys have a real gem with this guy. He has everything; class, style, personality, humor, and most of all a great all around game. He's a good kid and I'm happy for the Cavs franchise that you were able to pick this guy up.

Personally, I know it hurt to lose Lebron but I think with the qualities that Kyrie has your better of with him than Lebron in the long run. He's the new face of the organization and you guys should be proud of that.
