depends on what he said, i did a quick glance and only seen 1 of his post over there, it should of been a warning, not a suspension, unless some other stuff happened earlier or in a different thread...something else must of happened because you usually get a warning first
I think that was it. I remember lurking over there last season and it seemed obvious their mods are drunk with power when it came to trolling.
Lmao guys, the Nets board has been a hotbed for trolls for years. We got it from Mavs fans, Magic fans, Blazers fans, Knick fans, and Raptor fans. The Nets mods are rarely there. Nets posters have routinely had to fend off trolls by ourselves for years because our mods are rarely there/extremely lenient.
The Knicks board, it is not.
If someone got suspended, it is because they either had a previous record or really went out of line.
A lot of the comments from Nets fans trashing the Magic didn't come out until that one poster started things up. Like I said, the mods there are very lenient and rarely do anything about trolls. So if another poster comes in and trolls a thread, every Nets poster will come after them...hard, and with facts (except for maybe a couple of problem child exceptions).
It's how we've fend off trolls for years as a bottom of the barrel franchise, with a very small RealGM fanbase (or fanbase in general, I guess).
That being said, we're clearly not a small market team anymore, and we're getting an influx of hate now (must be a New York thing).
As far as the game, your team sucks. People are seriously praising Vucevic? You guys call Lopez soft, and Vucevic couldn't do anything against him. Heck, he couldn't even do anything against Blatche.
Moore looks pretty good, but he's clearly not a point guard.
But, like we've said many times during the Dwightmare, if you're going to lose a star player, the worst thing you can do is be stuck in mediocrity. You are better off losing hard and winning the top pick in the draft and rebuilding again.
It is a tough pill to swallow as a fan, we know, we went through a 12-win season. But its a much better place long-term than trying to be a team like, say the Hawks or the Knicks for years who were just good enough to win games not to win the lottery but also bad enough that they can't get past the 2nd round.
