Stephen Curry for Jeff Teague?!

Post#1 » by page » Thu Nov 8, 2012 7:15 pm

Someone offered me Stephen Curry for Jeff Teague. My first thought was 'snap accept & pray for no veto', but is it really THAT unfair? I mean, healthy S-Curry was a borderline Top 10 player, contributing greatly in assists, points, treys, some steals - along with top-notch efficiency... but it's hard to imagine him playing 70+ games this season.
What are your opinions on that matter (his health and trade itself)?

My team:
PG: Paul, Conley, Teague, Calderon
SG/SF: Pierce, Thompson, Ilyasova, Leonard
PF/C: Horford, Hibbert, Varejao, West, Asik

If this guy wants to give away Curry and u dont accept someone else will. Teague is pretty good, but doesnt get the right minutes which will hold him back. Curry if he stays healthy will be much better for fantasy

I would veto the f*** outta that lol. seriously. Pray for no veto but don't try to reason why it would be even remotely close to fair.

Please don't get me wrong - I'm not trying to make a fool of you (or anybody else) by reasoning it. I just want to consider every single aspect of any trade, even this one (though it's almost no-brainer).

I'm waiting for this trade to get through, for one day and a half. Meanwhile, someone in my league dropped Jason Terry... should I pick him, for instance in Calderon's place?

Terry sucks. It looks like his role will be reduced slightly, and he's doing less ball-handling. Bradley will be back in a month and a bit which doesn't help either.

And I've seen a few Curry for decent player trades in here. I know his ankle is wonky but the guy isn't that different from a guy like Wade. Similar value when healthy (top 8) and an injury risk. You got a huge, huge, steal.
