Sorry about the injuries guys

Post#1 » by Lucky Striker » Mon Nov 12, 2012 11:19 am

Your team has worse luck with injuries than I've ever seen. Franchise PG, Franchise PF, now one of your best performing role players is down for a good chunk of the season...all before you really had any chance to get going.

It's a shame, as you were playing good ball, and Rubio + Love obviously would've brought it to another level.

It will be a miracle if your team stays anywhere near the #8 seed by the time Love/Rubio come back, so I wonder if this might be lights out for Kahn. Another season with around 30 wins is not likely to endear him to the owners.

Anyway, its all a bummer. Good luck the rest of the way.

We need win 2 of the next 9 games for get 0.400 (or 3 for 0.47) at early Dec, and then Love will return. I hope Barea and Roy already will be with the team at this point. Rubio and Budinger will be with the team few weeks after.

Our POs plans are keeping on the correct course (not curse) and the team will be with good form the last two months of the RS.

Boo fate. You folks are likely my favorite fanbase (Raptors are my favorite team...but we are a contentious) and have constructed a really interesting roster. It's disappointing that fate keeps undermining the opportunity for them to play together. Good luck going forward.

We've actually learned how to use the Bowie Curse into a power. For every injury we suffer, an opponents star player suffers an injury as well.

We don't want to face Rose again? Rubio will take one for the team. Don't want to face off against Dirk today? Budinger will gladly sit out a few months. Gerald Wallace causing troubles? Love will break his own hand to get rid of that problem. Hell, we sacrificed Barea and Roy to get rid of Granger and Bynum. Oh, it seems we are going to be playing Portland soon. It would be a shame to see what happens to Batum if Kirilenko tears his ACL. Who else wants a piece of Kahn?

MN sports fans have it bad; usually the teams just choke but injuries on this team are getting so unlucky it's cruel
