KEYS TO GAME
The Spurs like to play uptempo and look to stretch the defense of it's opponents with perimeter shooting. The Lakers must close out on their shooters and limit the Spurs on the offensive boards, while not allowing too much penetration from Parker. The Lakers must rebound on both glass to control the Spurs tempo as they don't won't to play a slow tempo with the Lakers.
The Lakers will have to establish it's interior game by getting Howard or Gasol off early against the Spurs under size front line. Seeing as the Spurs will most likely check Howard with Diaw and Gasol with Duncan. The interior attack needs to be a point of emphasis against the Spurs. If Diaw gets in foul trouble they'll counter with Tiago Splitter at the 5.
