Where Amazing dosent happen

Post#1 » by Jay81 » Tue Nov 13, 2012 4:04 am

it dosent happen here although this is amazing.

Since 1980, the most games we have won in a season was 45. LOL
We have a stretch where we missed the playoffs in 14 out of 15 seasons from 88-89 till the Gilbert Arenas playoff team except for one playoff run with Chris Webber/Howard
havent won a divison since 1978-79

Since 1979 we have won 1099 games and lost 1564. 41% winning percentage

88-229 in last 4 plus years yet Ernie got an extension

In our best stretch with Gilbert we went an amazing 171-157. 14 games over. 500

have we been 15 games over .500 at anytime in the past 30 years?

This 30 year stretch is likely the worst all time of any professional team in any sport

Yeah, the Wiz suck. Their highlight was first round playoff battles with their "rival" Cleveland, in which Lebron eventually and always dismantled them.

The Wiz are completely irrelevant in the D.C. sports scene. The Skins may suck but at least they have RG3, the Caps(when NHL returns to action)are at least a playoff team with an exciting Ovechkin, and the Nats are contenders with not one but two phenoms. Hell even D.C. United is back to contending.

Most of the fail was on Abe running the franchise like a mom and pop store, but Ted has been pretty bad too. He had a chance to completely clean house and start fresh in 2010: top pick, new owner, should have meant new GM and coach. Instead he's just keeping us on the same path of mediocrity.

Oh well....only ~3 more months until pitchers and catchers report...
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.
