Washington is right there with us. Hopefully that will change when Wall comes back. This draft is pretty much Shabazz or bust though so we have to tank hard this year.

I don't want to tank for 25%. Sloan looks like he wants back in the coaching game evident from him being interested in the Cats. Let's go after him.

BAZZ BAZZ BAZZ

He'd fit perfectly with Knight and Prince/Singler, just give Stuckey the 6th man role, and we're settled.

I would rather be competitive then get another lottery pick.

That being said, Shabazz would be a great consolation prize. However, I wouldnt bet on it.

Worst team barely ever gets the #1 pick = making it easier to swallow when someone passes us for #1 worst in the league (which will happen at some point this season) as long as we can stay in the top-3 -- which is also not likely.

Cant draft for need, we gotta draft the BPA.

I seriously think we're in a mess and is possibly the worst team in NBA now. With or without Drummond in the starting lineup.

Maxiell is unpopular but he contributes, and i doubt he is the problem itself. of coz the lack of post D and rebound is, but Maxiell isnt entirely the problem. I m not trying to be an advocate of Maxiell but i understand why Drummond doesnt play 30min a game.

Stuckey, Knight n Prince are terrible too...........

so we gotta pick the BPA. Golden State took Udoh ahead of Monroe n Raptors picked Terrence Ross ahead of Drummond becoz they picked for need.

If we're 1st in the lottery, please pick Nerlens Noel.

Here's my plan:
Draft BPA (probably a big) and use it to trade for a 2nd tier wing (Gallo, Chandler, Granger, Gay).

We're a lot better than our record. An impact player combined with our growth by the end of this season + next season could vault us into an up and coming middle-seeded team with potential to be better.

Having an extra lottery big isn't bad to have lying around.

Looking at DX rankings, after Shabazz, the next 7 are all bigmen.

So....Shabazz or a backup I guess.

Yeah it's pretty much Shabazz or bust which makes me uncomfortable about taking because the odds of us ending up with him are slim. I also really McAdoo though. If he can become a SF than that would be perfect but if he stays at PF he could give us the best big man rotation in the league with Drummond/Monroe/McAdoo.

yeah, but those rankings are pretty much meaningless until they play some college games. a couple years ago Harrison Barnes was a lock to be #1 and Fab Melo and PJ3 were sure top 5 picks and last year Drummond was top 1 or 2 going into the season, we wont start to know what the real lottery projections are going to be until about the middle of the college season.

Alex Poythress looks promising but he is more like a tweener n stuck between the 3 n 4.

After Jerebko n Daye, I m not sure if we should pick another 3/4 hybrid, just not a good fit

I don't think he's a 3 tho

I want Shabazz Muhammad if he's the BPA. Perfect fit to this team and we'll have Stuckey off the bench as a 6th man

Even if by some miracle the Pistons land Shabazz I wonder how many games they'll have to lose until they would try him in the starting lineup let alone move Stuckey to the bench.

Return to Detroit Pistons
