I thought both of those were decent calls. Bargnani smartly guarded the ball with his off arm; and while Favors blocked the shot he had to go through the off-arm to do it. Probably wouldn't have been called a foul on some guys, but I think it was legitimate. The other one was tough because he got the deflection but didn't restrain himself from running into Calderon (I think this is the play you're referencing).

I do think, however, he got hammered a couple of times on the other end with no calls.

It's going to be tough to let go of Millsap if we have to. He's getting better still, and now he's a huge threat with the 3 too.

I'm bloody terrified Sap is gonna end up on the Rockets next year. I think it makes a ton of sense for them... they have the cap room, he always has huge games against them, they have a defensive focused center with size and Millsap would make a perfect complimentary 2nd option to Harden. I may even cheer for them if that ends up happening... gulp

Perfect game for this team, they needed it.

Corbin actually looked like a good coach tonight.... it was weird.

sick game. Good choice to put Millsap at 3.

But there was a reallt bad decicions of Corbin during the game. In the 3rd quater when Jefferson was tired. Not moved at all not jumping for the rebounds.
And after foul on Amir Johnson(and one) afrer that he got benched. Little bit later.

Overall great win for us! Hope it will give a little bit momentum.

I thought Foye could have come out sooner. I thought it was a blessing in disguise when he fouled out. He was winded by OT and was getting absolutely eaten alive by Derozan. Other than that, pretty solid job.

Good game last night. You guys only won because Casey is stupid. Gray playing in the 3rd Q for example. All the same, congrats.

I'll trade you coaches. Even throw in Raja Bell too.

Probably shouldn't have been that close, but that was an exciting game. Great all-around game by Millsap.

Hmmm I will have to think about that LOL. HOw dumb of a coach wouldn't play a great rookie like Jonas when he is better than most of the other players. Playing Gray instead of him or Davis in OT. DUMB

Her is part o an artile on a message board on nbadraft.net

Bargnani was killing us until we put Favors on him....then he shot 0-10.
=======================================================================================

Last night Bargnani went 5 of 7 for 19 points through three quarters. During that time he was guarded by Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson. At the beginning of the 4th Favors got the duty to guard Bargnani. Through the 4th quarter and 3 OTs Favors held Bargs to 0-10 shooting for 0 pts.

Let me repeat: After going 5-7 for 19 points through three quarters, Favors held Bargnani to 0 pts on 0-10 shooting, completely taking him out of the game.

Pretty much all of Favors' scoring came off put backs and in transition. He ended with just 15 pts and 6 shooting 50% in 45 minutes of play. But he absolutely smothered Bargs and added 4 blocks and 2 steals.

Return to Utah Jazz
