Should I trade Iggy for Z-bo with this roster and scoring?

Post#1 » by wonderva » Tue Nov 13, 2012 7:07 pm

I would send: Andre Iguodala (SG,SF)
I would receive: Zach Randolph (PF,C)
16 DEEP TEAM LEAGUE with this scoring system H2H points
FGM: 1; FGA: (-0.1); FTM: 0.5; FTA: (-0.2); 3PM: 1.5; 3PA: (-0.2); OREB: 1.2; REB: 1; AST: 1.5; ST: 2; BLK: 2; TO: (-1); PF: (-0.5)

My Roster
PG: Ty Lawson (PG)
SG: Marcus Thornton (SG)
G: Manu Ginobli (SG, SF)
SF: Luol Deng (SF)
PF: Kenneth Faried (PF)
F: Al Horford (PF, C)
C: Jonas Valanciunas (C)
C: Boris Diaw (C)
UTIL: Andre Iguodala (SG, SF)
UTIL: Danny Green (SG, SF)
BENCH: Kevin Love (PF, C) - INJ
BENCH: andrew Bynum (C) - INJ
BENCH: AJ Price (PG)
-------------
Would this trade help me/improve me/or worsen me? Also am I giving too much? I feel like this trade is decent since I am waiting for Kevin Love and Bynum to return. At the moment, I am 1-1 in my league.

Z-bo's playing excellent right now but Iggy still has more fantasy value that him. He's too well rounded.

How about Iggy for Dwight Howard?

Hold up, didn't know you were playing points. Disregard my previous post. Are Z-bo/Howard currently averaging more points that Iggy? If so do it, I think the production we are seeing out of these 3 players is what we can expect for the rest of the year.

Right now Iggy is avg: 24 pts
Zbo is avg 29, while Howard is 30.

The thing is that if I give up Iggy, I would lose some back court depth and the howard deal will be Iggy/AJ Price (who is avging 20 pts himself) for Howard/Jason Kidd (who is aving 17, but not sure if he can keep up)
Should I take this Howard-Jason kidd deal?

I would take the deal I if we you. As long as you have someone else to man the SF and SG position. The points average jump from Iggy to Zbo or Dwight is just too big for you to turn down. AJ Price isn't a sure thing in terms of whether or not he can keep this up. Even if he does, surprise AJ Price type players will emerge on your waiver wire as the season progresses and he can be replaced. It's very hard, if not impossible to replace the production of star-level fantasy players like Zbo or Dwight.

Thanks, but my 2 best players are injured, so I am hoping that I have a decent record by the time Kevin Love comes back.
Only top 6 makes playoffs and I am ranked 8 at the moment with 1 win, 1 loss
