As long as we are resigning old players, can we get Michael Ruffin and Tyrone Nesby back?

Mack was a rookie last year -- a tough year to be a rookie w/ no Summer work w/ the team, no real training camp, and so forth. I can only think of one GM who would have cut him at this point after his relative success as a rookie, and you know who that GM is.

And exactly where is the long line of GMs hoping to sign Mack now that he's available?

They're all at the annual "I didn't draft Kenneth Faried either" reunion.

Might you be talking about the same Landry Fields who is shooting 20% from the field and averaging 2.4 pts this season? The same overpaid small forward that one poster called a "terrific" player a few short weeks ago.

But that happiness didn't last long. About a minute later, I realized that I just got happy because my favorite team signed Shaun Livingston mid-season. SHAUN LIVINGSTON. Like I said the moment we heard Wall was injured, Livingston was the best option available. But like Nivek and others have stated here, he's still not a very good option, at the end of the day. There's a reason he was available. He is a backup PG, at best. I like him, and I'm glad he's here, but let's not pretend this is going to magically turn things around.

It's just sad that our franchise has reached a point so low that our fans have to get excited about signing Shaun Livingston. Come on. We deserve better than this.

"Are you not entertained."

Hey, I agree with a lot of what you are saying but it isn't mid-season, while it may feel like it to some.

It's not a bad move but I'm so incredibly disillusioned by this team right now that moves like this have about the same effect as herding cats.

And they are all currently planning on passing up C. J. McCullogh because he's too thin in this upcoming draft. They will let him slip out of the top 5 picks all the way to mid teens or twenties.

He's probably going to be next year's Kenneth Faried. Who saw this guy getting this good?

C. J. McCollum IMO is a better basketball player than John Wall. Should be damn obvious to NBA scouts this player is a future NBA great but it isn't.

You won't see Tim Frazier on mock drafts but you will see him in the NBA.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Shaun really adds height at PG 6-7 . Pargo was only 6-1.
Still only 27 having just turned that in Sept. Just a year older then Price. 6 years younger then Pargo.
Should be good for Wall and Beal. Shaun started in the league at 19 and overcame a lot to come back.
Shoots a solid percentage. He will be able to get them into their sets and run the offense.
With length, he can see over the defense and he can actually finish with the dunk and post up.
And he knows about coming back from injury
Solid young man. At his age, he can connect with the young, middle and more vet players.
Wiz took a chance with him after his recovery. Knows the staff.
The town knows and likes Shaun. He should get a warm welcome. The fans need that right now.
Plus playing in Charlotte and Mil the last two years, he know the division and conference.

Its a really nice fit for what he can add on the court at a position that they really need what he brings and its a nice fit because of who he is, his ago and how he should be able to connect with the team. The fact that he is both these things at PG makes it all the better.

http://www.basketball-reference.com/pla ... elog/2010/

He put up nice numbers last time he was here and since the team need both a PG that can set the team up and scoring, maybe he gets a few more looks.

I hope it works out for both him and the team. I like the young man. If it does, once Wall returns they may finally have PG worked out.

That's a pretty poor analogy. I'm almost certain that watching somebody herd cats would be far more entertaining.

Dude is an AS. They just don't know it yet. I bet SA picks him up soon.
