We traded Matt Carroll who used to be a good shooter and was only really considered a lockerroom presence at this point. If Hakim doesn't pass out every time he steps on the floor, this trade will be seen as a win.

At the very least, he'll throw down cool dunks.

Very nice tank move. You've traded for one of the 5 worst players in the league to use as a handbrake in case you start winning too much. Very smart move by Cho. As an added bonus when you play him you get entertained by watching him attempt to dunk from the foul line off a step and half. He'll try it multiple times and the most astonishing thing is most of the time someone will foul him in the process. :D

Hakim Warrick > Matt Carroll

Yeah but Carroll won't be able to single handidly shoot us out of games. He is too smart for that. So this is a win for the tank brigade.

Apparently, the Hammer is working on a buyout with NO. Can't re-sign him here, would like to see him go to a contender for a chance at a ring, spot up shooter off the bench.
Who I woulda took:
2023: Miller | 2022: Duren | 2021: Bouknight, Jones | 2020: Ball | 2019: PJ | 2018: MPJ | 2017: Monk | 2016: Damian Jones | 2015: Winslow | 2014: Vonleh, Napier | 2013: McLemore | 2012: MKG | 2011: Knight, Kawhi

I don't see many contenders wanting Matt. Hopefully he retires, and comes back to rejoin the organization in some capacity.

If by shooter, you mean someone who shoots the basketball than yes. If you mean someone who makes shots, then no - Carroll stopped being a shooter a long time ago. I have a feeling that there is a long list of candidates that contenders would consider before our boy Matt. He needs to put on a tie and start doing the 9 to 5 in our FO.
