Melky Cabrera signs 2yr/$16 million deal with Jays

Post#1 » by Mamba Mentality » Sat Nov 17, 2012 12:18 am

Free-agent outfielder Melky Cabrera has agreed to a two-year contract worth $16 million with the Toronto Blue Jays, sources told ESPN.

Still raking in the money after getting caught for cheating. Just amazes me.

Jays are going all-in. Love it. Need a real DH and one more starter.

Are you kidding? Had he not had the PED suspension, there's no way he'd be signing that cheaply (or for only two years) That cheat has cost him millions.

He was on his way to cashing into a career payday. I'm sure there are stipulations in his contract and it's only two years. All the Jays have to do is sign Josh Hamilton and they' would be a rag tag bunch with a fantasy baseball lineup.
