This comment is just plain trash.

I'm just gonna report you now. You're not trying to be helpful, you're not trying to be funny, you're just trying to cause a scene like a big baby.

The league average for PER is 15.

Kemba's career average for PER is 15.8 (14.9 last season and 21.9 this season so far)

Knights career average for PER is 11.7 ( both last season and this season)

In terms of PER Knight is well below league average, which makes him a below average player....Kemba despite playing on a much worse team is slightly above average.

Kemba is a whopping one year older than Knight, this should give Knight heaps of time to "surpass" Kemba...lol

Wow Kemba is only averaging 5.1 assists and Knight is averaging 6.5!!!! Knight is cousy like!!!! It's a shame Kemba averages 1.6 TO's a game and Knight averages 3.1

Kemba shot 37% last year...lol...Knight's a good shooter!!! (Knight is 37% on the season.)

This argument is so played out its ridiculous. In the end neither of us are going to change our minds and you didn't even address my post. But I'll address yours one more time .

Admittedly, I didn't watch much Bobcats basketball. I only saw them when they played the Pistons and the Knicks. Kemba wasn't starting right? He was coming off the bench and even played off ball for a large chunk of time. Knight was made a starter a week into the seasona and he had to play through his mistakes. He wasn't great his first year, but he was decent given the circumstances. I don't think you can use per to make any sort of definitive statement when evaluating first year PGs.

Not sure where you're getting your stats from. Kemba's now averaging and Knight is averaging 7.1

One difference. Knight has shot awful for 10 games. Kemba did it for 66. You can't pick and choose when you use the sample size argument.

@ComboGuardCity

I did address your points!! Didn't I?

As for Knights "hard" situation last season...Do you think Kemba had a cakewalk? Kemba was our "guy" last season, DJA was injured a lot.

As for assists, compare their A/TO rating and not their assists average, also who has the superior assist percentage and pure point rating? I'll give you a hint...It isn't BK.

If Knight was that good wouldn't you know...Detroit be winning??

They can use their schedule as an excuse but how did they go against tanklando?

Since when is 41% awesome?

So judging by Knights 76 game sample size he's shot poorly.

I addressed the schedules on the Pistons board and I'm done with the played out topic. You seem like a pretty confident guy in terms of how you think the Bobcats/Kemba will be this year. I'm willing to put money (something small such as a $5-20 Amazon GC) on this debate:

The Bet:
"I think the Pistons will end up with a better record than the Charlotte Bobcats and Brandon Knight will shoot a better FG% than Kemba Walker by Seasons end"

* Barring injury from either Team's Top 3 players (you can pick your top 3, I'll pick mine) missing more than 40% of the season.

Let me know if you would like to put money where your mouth is.

Sorry I'm not a degenerate gambler but if I was I'd have to change it a little bit-

I'd bet that Knight may shoot a better percentage than Kemba but would still be worse at every facet of basketball.

EDIT-

You didn't answer my question!!!

How did Detroit do against Tanklando? What percentage did Knight shoot against elite perimiter defender Jameer Nelson?

 So essentially you're saying you're willing to talk on a message board, but won't back it up. Makes sense. All right. Conversations over then.

Same deal is up for you too Kilo. Am I really good for the money though? Seeing as how my cities trash and all....

That comment wasn't directed at you but I'll answer, it has everything to do with it really though I suppose...

The Piston's fans have gone from guaranteeing making playoffs to trying to make bets with Charlotte Bobcats fans over who will have the best record come the end of the season...

Oh how the mighty have fallen...

It's going be a great back and forth between Bobcats & Pistons fans in the game threads come January 6th. I got my money on Kemba winning the matchup and the game. Knight has been consistently bad since the start of last season.

Everyone not named Greg Monroe has been consistently bad for the Pistons since last year.
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

Pistons fans are still pissed that Cho totally raped Dumars in the trade and we're soon getting their pick. Plus, they somehow can't realize that Kemba is stylin' all over Knight and we're actually winning games, unlike them. Also, a blind, deaf, mute person could tell you that Kemba has a way better season/is a better player than Knight so far. not sure what there is to argue about
