Eagles @ Redskins. Battle of the suck.

Eagles can't pass protect. We can't rush the passer.

I fully expect Nick Foles to smash Andrew Luck's rookie passing record. Our secondary is the worst I've ever seen.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Pretty underwhelming slate of games. I'll be in the car most of the weekend so I'll miss the early Sunday games for sure. No $.10 next week either.

The New York Jets are 3-6, but nobody within the organization believes Tim Tebow would give the team a better chance to win than Mark Sanchez.

“He’s terrible,” a defensive starter told the Daily News.

“It’s not even close,” said left guard Matt Slauson. “All the other quarterbacks know it. I have all the confidence in Mark. We don’t really have a choice.”

Tebow led the Broncos into the playoffs last season, but the Jets think luck was involved.

“Now we’re depending on miracles?” a member of the organization said. “You can’t play that way.”

Just speculating, but I wonder if the above article led to the article below :dontknow: .

The New York Jets have cut linebacker Aaron Maybin, according to a source.

Maybin was a high draft pick in 2009 by the Buffalo Bills, but was cut last season.

With the Jets, Maybin had six sacks, four forced fumbles and 11 tackles in 2011.

Sanchez is terrible, but Tebow doesn't even belong on an NFL field as a QB. Really though they both suck and the Jets will need to get a QB next year if they want to turn things around. I still like Rex Ryan as a coach though, I think he'll stay.

Sent my picks in last night. No major surprises, but a lot of tough calls this week.

I wrote a whole nice thing about how the Niners coaches would tailor the gameplan to what Kaepernick can do whereas the Bears will basically ask Jason Campbell to be Jay Cutler even though he's quite different. And then I wake up today and it looks like Alex Smith will start. Either way I pick the Niners; that Bears offense is really not very effective against defenses that try.

For my Packers frenemies: Green Bay 44, Detroit 20

Jason Campbell will complete 70% of his passes. Unfortunately none of them will travel farther then three yards.

I feel bad for Bears fans. I had to suffer with Captain Checkdown Jason Campbell for years.

Yea, he missed several open receivers downfield in that Texans game. It's like he was too scared to even try.

What are the chances that Carson Palmer throws for another 400 yards this week?

Is Bush hurt or something? 20 yards on 10 carries is just horrible.

Pierre Garcon and Brandon Merriweather both questionable, but should play assuming they don't suffer any setbacks.

About damn time, though Garcon is not going to be as good playing through pain.

no Philban just doesn't know what he's doing, Bush is clearly the better option at rb as opposed to Thomas; Philban is killing Miami's playoff hopes and my fantasy team's playoff hopes

Will be very interested in seeing what happens with Tampa at Carolina. Bucs are 5=4 and trying to stay in the playoff picture. Panthers are 2-7 and Rivera's job is on the line. Jerry Richardson needs to see this Panther's team has not given up on their Coach. If they win, Rivera has a shot to be back next year. But if Tampa comes out early and strong and shuts down the Carolina crowd and whips the Panthers, they will likely be the team that brings an end to the Ron Rivera tenure. Rivera may still make it to the end of the season, but the Bucs can pretty much make it a foregone conclusion that he will not be the Coach next year.

I guess the Texans decided not to show up on defense today, they're letting Henne destroy them.

Sad.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.
