GAME THREAD: Bulls @ Blazers - Sunday, 8 pm CT
What?? No game thread already? Let's get this thing started!
Chicago Bulls vs Portland Trailblazers
Sunday, November 18th - 8 PM Central Time
Portland, Oregon
TV: WGN-TV, WGN America
Radio: ESPN 1000
So far, we are on course for a successful Circus Trip. Thibs knew tonight was the more winnable game, so taking one from PDX will really be a good deal.
Remember - slow and steady wins the race (at least until Rose returns).
OK LET'S DO THIS!! GO BULLS!!!!

Need better energy & effort...more play time for Jimmy Butler & Marquis Teaque. This better be a W for us.

That doesn't bode well for us
Hopefully they can break that losing streak tonight.

PDX is a weak team this year; but it's a long trip and i think that contributes to the losing streak.
This game will be like PHX's..... I feel good about it as we didn't go balls out last night with our starters. No disrespect to Blazer fans, but I'm not scared by Portland what so ever this year.

Honestly I'd rather see Teague again this game, Lillard is averaging 38 mins a game and he will kill Nate. And I don't want to see more than 22 Hinrich minutes.

Agree. GIVE JIMMY SOME GOT DAMN PLAYING TIME THIBS! Bellineli isn't good enough on offense to justify, not giving Jimmy some of his minutes.

This is a tough place to play. Especially on a B2B.
Thibs did manage to keep our guys minutes somewhat down relatively speaking, due to the blowout, but still you would ideally like a big contribution from you bench in situations like this, and our bench is more a source of problems than solutions right now.
Still, Thibs teams have historically bounced back with great efforts after losses, I think it should be interesting, perhaps even a bit telling, if we still can do that. Which doesn't necessarily have to mean a win, but more about effort and execution level.

Im really excited to see Lillard play against the defense.
That kid is putting up sophomore Rose numbers at the minute.
His jumper is near elite already. So fluid and consistent.

I think the game will be close compared to yesterday. But, they definitely need one of Hinrich, Nate or Teague to have a big game. However impressive Lillard has been, he is still a rookie. I hope Nate or Hinrich can take advantage of him a little bit. Nate might be a little pumped playing near his hometown.

Recent memory, games in Port are always tough for us. Lillard and Batum will probably do their thing. And depression from seeing LMA (one of the Pax regime's worst moves)

I can't recall which game, but I could have sworn that there was some national broadcast that mentioned how poorly teams do on the 2nd night of a back to back in Portland. It was some insanely low winning percentage I think. Seems like the Rose Garden is just a tough place to play in general. The bulls have to come out on all cylinders on both ends of the floor tonight.

But if we landed LA, we probably wouldn't have had Rose......LA would have made us a much better team in that 07-08 season. I'd rather have Rose.
