Ray Allen has been phenomenal

Miami actually has big 4 now, Lebron-Wade-Ray-Bosh. Hope Ray get the 6th man of the year and most importantly, the ring.

There is and should be a cut off point of when you call a team a "big 2,3,4" etc.

Ray Allen has been doing exactly what they have brought him in for. Let him be just a great 6th man.

It is now up to Wade to step it up. I know he has been injured but our team has been hurt because of his play.

Rays ball handling and defense is questionable but what he does for the offense is unmatched. Great addition to the team, especially in crunch time.

12 points on 52% ...it's nice to have shooters.

Word^

My point sort of is based on stats and job that needs to be done.

Like tonight, Heat needed Bosh so much and he came through with 24pts (9-for-11 FGs), 9rebs, 3asts, 2blks, 1stl . That is what I consider part of the "big 3".

Yep, hes been playing extremly well (although I do have my gripes) and has this swagger about him this season where he just looks flat out comfortable. I think this will be his strongest year in a HEAT uniform. I honestly think in the playoffs, seeing how important he was to this team's run changed him. I don't think Bosh looks at himself as "the third wheel" anymore, I definitely don't.

I didn't think much of what everyone was saying about Ray's defense and just let it slide because he was producing on offense. But tonight I actually watched his on defense, solely him for plays, and he is really slow chasing his man around downscreens and backscreens, when his man doesn't have the ball and is standing on the other side of the court to where the ball is, Ray doesn't play him attention and gets caught ball watching.

There was also one play where he got beat by his man, but Miami recovered, he then made the switch, but the guy he switched onto just walked past him to the 3 point line, Ray walked backwards out of the key, ball watching kept walking backwards to no where, and went and picked someone else up who was already manned up, and then pointed at that player to cover the player he should of been when the man he should of been on missed a wide open jumper.

I know that's only one play but it was kind of ugly, I'm sure as time goes on he'll become better defensively in the Miami system, but it's costing us at the moment.

Slow it down there buddy. There's no big 4. Ray has been excellent so far on offense, needs to pick it up on d.

Right now I would go with BIG 3; LeBron, Bosh and Ray...Wade hasn't done anything. Wade this year looks like full diva. Not playing D, Allowing bums to beat him and not getting back. I hate to hate on Wade because he is easily the best HEAT player of all time but every reason why I loved Wade when he came into the league, he has become the opposite. Remember when WADE wanted to prove people wrong?

Honestly I think a lot of it has to do with LeBron being on the team now. Not a knock on LeBron in any way he's been incredible but Wade probably feels like he has nothing left to prove anymore since he has won 2 rings already (1 as the man and one as the 2nd option).

He probably feels like he doesn't need to give his full effort every night since he knows he has two great players in Bosh and LeBron to make up for his laziness at times. Think about it... I bet if LBJ and Bosh weren't on the Heat right now Wade would be playing his ass off to keep this Heat team afloat just he used to do. Now it's like he has completely embraced this 2nd/3rd fiddle role and doesn't feel the need to play/give effort like a top 3 player should night in and night out.

I'll repeat having LeBron and Bosh on this team has been a blessing to watch as a true Heat fan but it looks like Wade's drive and determination to play like he's really a top 3 player has suffered as a result. He's still my favorite player but he has been really hard to watch at times these past couple of seasons. :(

I wouldn't be surprised if Ray Ray at 37 plays more games than Wade this season. I just don't think Wade is big on legacy or work ethic. You look at guys like Timmy and Kobe...much older and managing to play on a high level, it's a shame.

Yea really loving Ray Ray's play for the Heat thus far, doing everything we brought him in for plus more.I'm expecting him to be in the 3-point shootout at Allstar Weekend to represent us,him or Shane with the way they've been shooting the ball.

Shaq's time here was really harmful to Wade and his work ethic. He's taken the Shaq view of his legacy. Rings count, and nothing else. He'll bank his Finals MVP plus a bunch of rings in the Big3 era to secure his legacy as one of the best SGs of all-time. PEACE.

It's the regular freaking season man....stop getting your panties in a bunch. I learned to stop doubting Wade because he shows up when we need him most.

rays offense has been great, but his defense is awful. Miami is 10pts worse per 100 possesions with him on the floor.

I wonder how bad the ankle is?

Ray's defense is atrocious. Watching him on defense I cringe. We have to make it a point to really have our better defensive players out there when he's out there, because the man is magical on offense.

Please learn that per possession stats and dozen others means NOTHING when your team hasn't even played 10 games.

Start using those stats at the allstar break and on. Thank you.
