Why you think he's awful? People on comcast are bias you will never hear Steve/Phil/ Thompson say what they really want to say they just say everything positive witch aren't many for wizards. Wish they question are front office sometimes

Okafor has been awful offensively. His TS% of 43% is 10% worse than last season. He has been completely inept.
Ariza's TS% of 42% is awful but not exactly unexpected.
These games are pretty hard to watch. I feel sorry for the people who are at the games.

Are people really shelling out their hard-earned money for these games? I mean, it's not like they're there to see the competition either -- Indiana doesn't have much star power or appeal.
I couldn't imagine bringing the family to a Wizards game and spending $200-400 bucks on them. That's just highway robbery.

You can be part of the problem, Fish... or you can be part of the solution. *cracks knuckles*

Problem is, fish -- like other season ticket and plan holders -- already paid. The money is gone and it's not coming back. The choice of flushing the money isn't real. Plan holders can vote with their wallets after the season.
Here's a dilemma for the board. I have two free tix for Saturday night. Should I go?
What if I go and don't spend anything on concessions?

At that point, it really becomes a question of "is there anything else you could possibly do on a Saturday night that's more interesting?" And, even without knowing your personal life, I have a feeling the answer is "yes".

I think any Wizards home game is interesting at this point. It just falls under the category of "morbid curiosity."

Well then shame on you, sir. People in Africa are starving and you are buying Ted more hot dogs.

Re: Pacers at Wizards tonight at Verizon
I travel the next morning, so I'd probably just watch the game and pack if I don't go. And I can get 2-3 hours of good snark with my son.
It's a tough choice.

I have little doubt that Ted is losing money on the Wizards. So there's that.

Definitely go...and root for the home team! And spend some money at the concessions...those of us who live in DC would appreciate the tax revenue.

Worth noting that New Orleans found another deal using the Wizards cap room: they traded for Ryan Anderson -- a mature young PF who plays hard, works hard, and...shockingly...has been more productive for New Orleans than either Okafor or Ariza have been for the Wizards.
Dunno, maybe the Wizards could have used that cap space in a similar fashion.
Yep, one of the guys I pined for all offsesason. Was surprised to see Orlando let him go for so little.

Re: Pacers at Wizards tonight at Verizon
I went AND I wore a paper bag over my head for almost the whole game. I encourage
others to do the same. Maybe Ted will wake up when he sees how embarrassing it
is to be a Wizards fan right now.
During the 3rd quarter a Wiz official approached my seat and asked to talk to me.
I told them I was busy watching the game. Now I'm curious what they would have
said to me. I wonder if they will make another attempt to contact me. Gotta figure
they know who I am since I was sitting in MY seat. I walked around the concourse at
halftime and a couple folks wanted (and did) to take my picture.
I'm so going to do that this Saturday if we are 0-10. I'll be in section 100 row E. We should start a thread.
If they force me to take off the bag, I wonder if I can get a refund for the rest of the season? That way I can purchase my tickets from someone else for 75% less.
