Wonder your thoughts on this trade (6161540) which cannot take place until after December 15th allowing Hendo to come back from IR?
Chicago sends us Hamilton (1) + Naza(expiring)+Radmonvic(expiring) For Biz (3) and Hendo(1) and Higgins(2)and also agrees to extend the conditional draft pick they hold on us for another year allowing us to draft in 2013 no matter where we finish.
Why For Chicago: They get an experienced young "defensive" 2 guard to replace Hamilton and pair with Rose and Biz who can backup Noah on defense, and Higgins a extra point guard fillin for now who could be traded or waived later .
Why for Charlotte: Hamilton gives us more offense at 2 for this year and next and Gordon can backup letting Taylor play 2 or 3 as backup as needed. Both Hamilton's and Gordon's contracts would expire together after next season giving us more cap room in 2014. With Naz and Rad expiring this season we could use them as backups this season and still have even more $$$ to add with Diop and Rwill expiring's to resign Sessions, Mully and still go after a FA. AND We would guarantee having a 1st round pick in 2013. AND Still have the Portland pick for 2014 draft.
Lineup 2012-2013 season
KW, Sessions, Rwill
Hamilton,Gordon,
Mkg, JT
Mully,War,Radmonvic (TT on IR)
Haywood, Naz, Diop
Cho was all over for drafting Biz in Portland (even met him in Spain) and desired to have a pick to do so. Then he traded up specifically for him to bypass Detroit (although their fans will claim they aimed for Thompson).

Re: The Trade Thread
Time to test the trade market for Henderson and throw in Williams, maybe for two first round picks, sign D-League players or free-agents and if we end up in the lotto cool, if we don't cool too.

Reasonable trade, but we currently need BG's outside shooting more than we need Milsap's inside presence. Not to mention, I would hate to lose the Portland pick for a player that may leave via free agency at season's end

Millsap would definitely be someone to trade for if he wasn't going to be a free agent. It would be awesome to finally get a great power forward after all of these years.
Humble yourself.

Chicago is trying to save luxury tax. So I can't see them doing all of that.
Hendo for rip+ 2 of Robinson/Teague/Vladimir/nazr +13 1st hopefully Teague is one. And they won't have to pay tax.

Would the Wolves trade us Derrick Williams and a second-rounder for the Portland pick and Warrick? Would you do it?

I want for the 'Cats to keep the Portland pick. I believe that the protection will wear off as they stay out of playoff contention for the next two seasons. The Blazers have been fool's gold since Brandon Roy's knee problems came into effect. If Charlotte is planning on dealing with Minnesota for Derrick Williams, a package of Hendo should be included due to their lack of depth at SG & excess at PF. In the process of such a deal the Wolves will gain some cap flexibility for this upcoming offseason. If they want Kevin Love to commit to them without seriously considering the curious opt out, they may want to add enough quality wing players to help continue their much needed playoff run this season to retain him with the uncertainty of Roy because starting Malcolm Lee is not going to cut it in the Western Conference
CHA trade: Gerald Henderson & Reggie Williams
CHA get: Derrick Williams, Malcolm Lee, & 2013 2nd round pick
MIN trade: Derrick Williams, Malcolm Lee, & 2013 2nd round pick
MIN get: Gerald Henderson & Reggie Williams

Don't think minny would do that plus add a 2nd. They need a shooter next to Rubio and dont know if they will resign hendo and give up the former #2. But if they need money for pek then they might consider it.

Bobcats Trade: Ben Gordon, 2013 and 2014 2nd Round Picks
Bobcats Recieve: Nene, Earl Clark
Why? Is there a better fit at center than Nene for this team (besides Dwight)? I don't think so. Big upgrade here. They sacrifice some cap space in the next couple years but it would be extremely difficult to get a player as good as Nene to come to Charlotte.
Nene /Mullens /Haywood /Diop
Biyombo /Thomas
Kidd-Gilchrist /Taylor /Clark
Henderson /Williams /Higgins
Walker /Sessions
(14 players)
Wizards Trade: Nene, Trevor Ariza, Jan Vesely, 2013 Top 8 Protected 1st Round Pick
Wizards Recieve: Pau Gasol, Steve Blake
Why? Okafor and Nene seems like a terrible fit. Judging by their recent moves, the Wizards are looking to make the playoffs this year. Pau Gasol and John Wall is a legit 1-2 punch to get them in the top 8 in the East. Also, Pau is on a much shorter deal than Nene so if they end up failing, they can rebuild quickly with his near $20 million expiring next year. Steve Blake will provide them a much needed backup PG.
Okafor /Seraphin /Barron
Gasol /Booker
Webster /Singleton /Martin
Beal /Crawford /Livingston
Wall /Blake /Price
(14 players)
Lakers Trade: Pau Gasol, Steve Blake, Earl Clark
Lakers Recieve: Ben Gordon, Trevor Ariza, Jan Vesely, 2013 Top 8 Protected 1st Round Pick, 2013 and 2014 2nd Round Picks
Why? Cap space. Youth. It's time to end the relationship with Pau as all he is being used for is an (ineffective) spot up shooter. His defense has been mediocre at best at times and he has overall been a negative player to have on the court. Lakers have Hill to fill a lot of his minutes, as well as World Peace, who might be better suited (on offense and defense) to play the 4 at this point in his career and in the D'Antoni system. Bryant-Ariza-World Peace-Howard with any other guard makes one of the best defensive lineups ever and will work even better on offense with Nash running it. Ben Gordon will be an incredible scorer off the bench which is what LA needs more than anything. And they will get to see what Nash can do with Vesely who can be like a Euro Shawn Marion. The draft picks can also help should the Lakers look to replace some more of their bigger contracts with cheap younger options.
Howard /Hill /Sacre
World Peace /Jamison
Ariza /Vesely /Ebanks
Bryant /Gordon /Meeks /Johnson-Odom
Nash /Morris /Duhon

If you seen the production that the Wolves have gotten out of the SG position so far this season, Brandon Roy included, they'll be looking at Hendo as a godsend.

Re: The Trade Thread
If Cho doesn't have any plans of moving Gerald Henderson or isn't able to find a reasonable suitor by the February trade deadline, I'm sure that the Lakers would give up as much of the little expendable assets they have to get Ben Gordon. I would hate to see BG go, but if he's going to see less than 25 minutes a night when Hendo return from injury due to Jeffery Taylor's emergence, his value as a player attached to his contract will only decrease into next season as an expiring

They have nothing. I'd take Jordan Hill or Antawn Jamison (PHS represent!) and maybe Jodie Meeks, but that won't work. Hill is their only backup big man, Jamison is their only backup forward of value. Ebanks, Duhon, Blake, Clark, and Morris wouldn't be on NBA rosters if the Lakers' bench weren't so shallow and are complete deadweight contracts. I see a team like Minnesota or Utah making a run at him.

Re: The Trade Thread
I was thinking of Bogut as a potential target. Offer some combination of expiring (Diop + Warrick -- not sure how the trade rules work with Warrick/if we can trade him + a draft pick). I don't know if GSW would want to trade him, but there seems to be a lot of nba voodoo superstition with "injury prone" guys. Might be able to get him "cheap".

I don't want any injury prone guys that cost $10M+. Would much rather trade for young, healthy, cheap talent. No to Bogut.

Re: The Trade Thread
I proposed a Ben Gordon / Andrea Bargnani swap on the GB as a joke, and the Raps fans loved it as they are **** sick of him. I assume this would make us happy as well, correct? We could keep him or ship him off for expirings and picks. Pushes Mullens into a backup role, lowering his value in FA, making it easier to retain him, maybe? Thomas and Warrick would barely see the court (definitely a good thing).
Bargnani is essentially an overall better but more inconsistent version of Mullens, but I couldn't pass up the value.

barganis trash. he may be a more consistent shooter but mullens is a way better rebounder plus isnt on the albatros contact bargani has, no team will ever win a ring with that pussy as a starter. any team with him on it will be doomed to mediocrity at best

This, but in less demeaning words
