Another new starting lineup!

Whether or not he has Nene, Wittman said he knows for sure that the Wizards will field a new starting lineup in Atlanta. The last group, featuring A.J. Price, Jordan Crawford, Emeka Okafor, Trevor Ariza and Jan Vesely, fell behind 26-7 in the first nine minutes of a 96-89 loss to Indiana.
Wittman wouldn’t reveal his third different starting lineup of the season, but said, “Just another different combination that we haven’t probably seen a lot of. Just trying to figure out the group. Consistency, to see if we can’t get something going from that standpoint.”

Probable Starters:

Wizards
AJ Price
Jordan Crawford
Trevor Ariza
Jan Vesely
Emeka Okafor

Hawks
Jeff Teague
Devin Harris
Kyle Korver
Josh Smith
Al Horford

Thanks for starting the game thread.

I hope Randy doesn't start that line up again and instead we get to see Livingston or Crawford starting at PG. But I expect we will see the same because Beal did well with Livingston so he probably wants to keep them together.

But even if he does start them that way, I hope its more

Jordan Crawford
AJ Price
Trevor Ariza
Jan Vesely
Emeka Okafor

Which is what he has been doing more. Price is SG on offense but he defends the PG. I just wish he would start Webster or Martin at SG instead.

Actually they have been very consistent, just not in a good way.

Thread title makes it sound like we are 11-21. We aren't that good.

Rarely am I visited by a flash of inspiration from the gods wherein I see the future with an absolute certain clarity, and tonight isn't one of those nights....

All the same... I think we're going to win tonight. Get off the schneid. Break our 12-13 cherry. Get lucky for once! The Hawks will miss the bus to their own arena!

One way or the other. After tonight, I'm promising it, we'll be 1-9.

I am going to see the new James Bond movie tonight so I will miss the game. Since I will not be watching, I am guessing we will win too.

Enjoy Skyfall. It's fantastic. Actually that should be the Wizards' motto. "The Sky Is Falling"

Since I still have mod privileges, let me sticky this now.

Kev, I hope you're on Twitter tonight. I'll try to check in, but we have out-of-town guests. So may have to catch the game later via DVR. Generally, I can count on Rafael for a couple of insightful zingers. And also Miller on Facebook.

Let's go Wizards.

Starting line up

Livingston
Crawford
Beal
Ves
Kevin

Really Randy ? Guess they are going to run. Going to have to be lots of guard rebounding which will make it tough to get back in transition. Crawford and Beal should be launching. Not sure how they are going to rebound though. Ves and Kevin. Kevin better discover his manhood to make this work. I have to believe Randy told him what he needs to do so I expect Kevin to come out more aggressive. Randy does have that Kevin connection. Maybe he is showing him he believes and challenging him to get it done.

Interesting. I give it that.

Randy seems lost. I don't know. Seems like there are more obvious line up before you try something like this. At least Price isn't starting. Maybe it works. All younger players. We will see. I have serious concerns but I will hold judgement.

Booker at least didn't reinjure his foot. They say it is his knee.
Talk of Nene playing

So this sets up the bench as.

Price
Webster/Martin ( maybe even Trevor )
Trevor A or Singleton ( I'm guess Singleton gets the shaft this game )
Nene
Okafor

I have no idea what Randy is planning at this point. Very strange next move in the rotations. Maybe he is separating the youngs and vets like he did last year. Start youngs then bring in vets.

Things I've learned from watching Wizards Pre-game Live...

"AJ Price has done yeomen's work this season"
"The real problem with this team is the Wall/Nene injury"

I love whoever compared the Wizards/CSN damage control to the Fox News damage control under the W administration.

Fill me in when CSN finally says "the architect of this program is similar to the architect that designed and built that condo project in China that fell over."
