Kryies out for at least 4 weeks. The cavs bench is lacking firepower. Waiters will get his. But is it safe to assume Gee will also put up nice numbers? This pick up is only a short term solution of course.
Team
Rubio
Lowry
Dragic
Vasquez (would most likely drop him)
Lou Will
Jameer
Durant
Iggy
Chandler Parsons
Zbo
Mullens
Cousins
Noah

Re: Alonzo Gee worth a pick up?
I agree with minnytola, although Vasquez has been pretty productive, especially as a starter...at least 10/8 and a 3 per game
If you need steals, FT%, and PTs he'd definitely worth the shot, especially with the cleveland bench being what it is. He should get a boost in minutes with Kyrie out and sharing time with gibson.

I wouldn't drop vasquez. A starting PG that gets around 12 points, 8.5 assists a game...

Vasquez is overrated. He's average in points, above average in assists and terrible in every other category. I'd drop him for Gee unless you really really need assists.

Thanks guys. I went ahead and dropped vasquez for gee. As great as vasquez has been for assists, with rubio coming back next month, i can afford to lose what he brought to my assists category for now.

I agree, I think his high assist numbers (for a waiver wire type player) is the biggest reason why so many people pick him up. But he's too weak in almost everything else, and his FG% has been horrible this season.

Vasquez's FG% may be horrible but it's not that far off from Gee's. Plus, you are not going to find someone who averages 8 assists per game on the waiver wire.
