I don't really understand what you guys are talking about, that's almost exactly the same as

Unless you're confusing the "one contract offer" as meaning only one contract ever offered, instead of only one contract offer available to sign. There's no contradiction there.

Anyway, I thought it was interesting that Shump and Novak are the main guys he's still friends with, and why everything probably worked out best for both sides. Lin is a young player better off with a young team, and we're a vet team that's better off with a vet point guard.

People have to remember that - the NBA is a BUSINESS. The Knicks are PROPERTY owned and provide revenues to feed the Dolan family.



Its about making smart business decisions and they had to choose what was best for the Knicks in the end.

Lin is a shady person IMO. He's trying too hard to be a good guy and spreading Christianity like Tebow. Personally I think he is just doing this to stay relevant in the league and it worked big time.
