That lineup on the inbounds with the game tied at the end of regulation was a joke.

What was Whittman thinking???????????????????????????

That is the point in the game where you need to put your shooters in, your offensive weapons. No Crawford and no Webster??????

They defended the Beal play well, and left us with nothing. Im sure if we did that again with JC and Web on the floor, the ball could have found its way to them and they would have at least put up a better shot than what we were left with.

Sorry Randy but im done with you as the coach. And ive been done with EG for what seems like a decade now.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

How good was it to see Nene out there again.

Changes are on the way..

Wall should return soon.

When wall returns and if Nene happen to be At least 70 % healthy at best wizards going to be in a hole in the standing. We are going to win at the end of the year it will secure us from getting a top 5 pick and at that we wont make the playoff. I don't see what's so good about them returning a month from now.

I was yelling at the TV. Use your freaking body, you are a big man. Run the play and so being so damn selfish.

It's the big man version of trying to ball hog.

Good eyes. He did do that.

Kevin did rebound and box out at least tonight. 10 rebounds. 21 pts. Only two FTA though.
He played better. Still made some very bad plays though.

Beal. 6 fouls and 5 turnovers in 26 minutes. ouch. But he did some other things well.

Lots of thing that players could have done better but also lots of things they did well.

Trevor A with 15 rebounds. Career high.

I put this one on coaching down the stretch. It makes the difference. Specially when you lose by .5 seconds.

Is it still too early to call him a bust?!?!?!

To add insult, Jan has to sit in the 4th for obvious reasons. Wall will make Jan better, but he is a bust IMO for a 6th pick. Yu can go to Europe right now and get a more productive player......if you have to have a Euro.

So, I get out of my movie just in time to hear the last minute of overtime on the radio. This guy pulls up next to me and looks at me wierd because I am laughing my a** off. This team is such a trainweck its ridiculous.

I obviously didn't see the whole game, but I find it hard to blame a coach when a team can't secure a rebound after 2 misses at the free throw line, not only once, but TWICE. Bad teams find a way to lose.

Yeah, Wall comes back and they start getting some Ws and in turn we lose out on Zeller or Muhammad.

And Erbie keeps his job

Well **** that!!! Lets keep losing!

The best thing that could happen to this franchise (unfortunately) is for Wall's injury to be season-ending but not career compromising. With a gimpy Nene, we'll win around 18-24 games this year, secure the worst record in the league and a top-3 pick.

That should be enough to get Ernie fired and hopefully we will make some major cap-clearing trades before the trade deadline.

We could, potentially, come out looking pretty solid next year if the right leadership is in place. I'm talking Wall, Beal, Nene and Noel/Muhammed/Zeller along with max capspace (if we can get rid of Okariza).

A good GM would craft that into something special.

Wall injured the entire season, could see Terd giving Ernie a pass ("act of God" etc). Some combination of Nene/Okafor/Ariza injured and/or sucking could more easily be laid at EG's feet ("you should have seen that coming") but then those players will be hard to move, same goes for Vesely. Wizards painted into corner, can't even figure out how to profit from loss like other teams.

In Terd's PR statements, I never really hear any comments that show much insight into basketball. Maybe he's really just clueless about the game and can't connect the moves Ernie made with the horrible success of the team.

not sure how we lost this game. Why was Crawford on the bench? Why cant we ever get a clutch rebound off a missed free throw.

I think with Wall and Nene, this team would be 7-3. Probably why Ernie is still around

My rationale is that, unless Ted thinks John Wall is, alone, worth nearly 30 wins just by his addition, then we are not on the right path.

We all like John Wall but 30 wins attributed to one player is reserved for LeBron.....maybe.

Vesely played as poorly as one can play. Just awful.

It's sad that with the game winding down all of us could predict Korver was gonna nail a 3 to win the game.

That starting lineup was absolutely ridiculous. Vesely should not be seeing the floor, not with the team winless. He certainly isn't outplaying Singleton.

Nene played good, although he looked a little uncomfortable with his foot, and out of shape. But it was so nice to see him out there!

I thought the team looked good at times when they had either Seraphin or Okafor with Nene, Ariza, Webster, Price.

I'm wondering if Crawford got in the dog house with his shot jacking with Whittman sitting him, even with Beal in foul trouble.

With Nene's return, and this season already hanging in the balance, it's time to cut the rotation, training camp is over Coach Whittman. Nene, Seraphin, Okafor, Singleton, Booker, Barron, have all outplayed Vesely. I'd like to see a regular cut down to Okafor, Seraphin, Nene, Singleton at C/PF. That with Ariza/Webster, Beal/Crawford, Price/Livingston keeps it down to a 10 man regular rotation.

Guys like Barron, Booker, Vesely, Martin are ideal end of bench guys that will come in with alot of energy to spark the team when they are called on.

The general rule when a team is struggling is to tighten the rotation. Whittman seems lost searching for answers by expanding the rotation and putting the team in a state of flux with constant lineup changes.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuck

I just want to win a damn game.

Plenty not to like in this one. Really enjoyed watching Nene again. Dude knows how to play the game. Hope John is back soon.

Fell asleep midway through the 3rd quarter. Wasn't surprised when I saw the final score but had to lol when I actually watched the remainder of the game.

Vesely is just awful to watch. He's an uncoordinated mess with seemingly no discernible NBA skills beyond his height. I get it, Booker is injured, but is Vesely really our best option? I'd rather see Singleton out there, than watch Vesely lose his confidence with every minute that goes by on the court.

Unlike most of you, it seems, I was encouraged by this game despite the loss.

That said, it was a very tough loss! Must have been hard in the locker room. I'm sure there are a lot of frustrated and angry guys in there -- I expect to see a few wins in a row in the next week or so.

(...which doesn't mean I think we're any good as a team of course...)

I agree, we keep getting closer and closer to putting it together to become at-least an average team. Unfortunately the hole we are in is very deep.
