first of all i gotta give klienin props for this post game thread. always wanted one but never thought it would catch on. good stuffs

i cant wait for the day asik's turnovers are at 1.5-2 every game. he only avg 10pts/1ast but gets 3.5tos. also hopefully getting more blocks too. we als need mroe shot blocking from him. tonights game was a good effort on that end

dougie's best year was his sophymore year. if he can bring that level of play off the bench he's a decent backup guard. like lin u gotta be patient with him. he's still growing as player. now on a new team with a completely new roster.

if patterson wants to keep his starting spot, he's gotta have more games like this. vs bulls' frontcourt its not easy getting 8rbs after a 1rebound game. he played so well jones was a dnp. i dont wanna make more of these Image

parsons may not be the white lebron james, but he gotta bright future. 5th double double thsi season, only had 2 last season. he keeps this up he'll be our x-factor, or glue guy.

gotta be patient with lin. i dont think his body is 100%. his speed is def not there. good thing dougie is gelling with his new team

I guess the Rockets are better at coming from behind than getting a big lead and trying to hold on. =)

Good to see we won, solid performances. I think Douglas is starting to carve out his niche on the team, like everyone, he's discovering his way. Not really worried about W-L b4 A/S break.

Let's try to get some momentum from this win.

After this game Greg Smith has 7th PER in the league

everything fills me with affection…
It may be an hour before the mood passes,
but ultimately I seem to understand

Nate's outside shot was just on that game. It wasn't like they weren't defending Nate, but he was simply hitting tough contested jumpers off any kind of soft screen rubs. At the end of the 4th the idiot coach finally made the no-brainer adjustment and started switching everything on Nate, which meant no jumpers for Nate and you guys won after that.

For some reason that Sampson (Please Use More Appropriate Word) appears to have it in his head that Tony Douglas is better at guarding bigger players on the switch than Lin is. It's the exact same thing he did in that OT when he used Douglas instead and switched everything. This is, of course, entirely unsupported by stat and the opposite is true. Lin is actually superior to Douglas at guarding bigger players on the switch. Sampson should have just made the defensive adjustment to switch on everything (a no-brainer when teams are hot from the outside), but with Lin instead of Douglas.
