"hey man he doesn't need any help scoring" - vinny on Durant going 19-21 from the FT line.

i was with my pop at the bar watching this with no sound and i wasn't on the forum to see anybody else's thoughts.
my thoughts were that we were getting jobbed down the stretch.
i understand our own role in the loss....but it's basketball and injuries happen (chaunce, grant and caron)....but the refs made them NEARLY impossible to overcome.
I hate ever even having to say anything about the refs, because I know the stigma that comes with it. Sour grapes...
Did some of the calls/non-calls affect our chances? Sure. Collison held Blake's jersey to prevent him from going after a loose ball, but no call was made. One of their bigs was camped out in the paint for an extended stay while not being within an arm's length of a Clipper player, which was not called. Barnes (and I believe Crawford as well) were fouled on 3's, which were not called. There were other times when it looked like we were getting a lot of contact from them that they let play on while some ticky tack stuff was being called on the other end. It's frustrating, but not something that is unexpected on the road against one of the premier teams that always gets the benefit of the whistle.
We did not play our best game and we did give them opportunities that we shouldn't have. It is amazing that we even had a shot to win at the buzzer with the way things played out for the majority of the game. For that we could have won despite any officiating that we may disagree with. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter who played or didn't play, fair/unfair or what calls were made/not made. It's about winning and losing and we lost with a perfect chance to win in the final 20 or seconds of regulation. I hope the next time we're in this type of situation that we don't make some of the same mistakes.
The worst call was giving Durant 2 free throws when he clearly was not shooting off of that loose ball retrieval

Sometimes Vinny has to tell Paul no because we needed that last play timeout Paul was cold.
