I'd give up Burks for him. We don't need him to shoot just play d, penetrate & distribute. Youd have to say yes to him

Burks has his moments and we have him for the rest of his rookie contract, he'll be a while restricted free agent and can retain him easily for another couple of years. Evans is getting worse every year. I rather take my chances with Burks. Who we really need to get rid of is Corbin. I wish that SLC could attract the likes of a Phil Jackson, I think this team would become an overnight success with him.

How long has is been since Jackson coached a team without a couple of superstars and an all star? Corbin has been frustrating, but so have our youngsters. They're improving, but slowly, and I'm not sure that they'll bring us anywhere impressive unless they pick up the pace.
Someone needs to break out. Kanter looked very good during the preseason, and Burks looked ready during the summer league. But neither is wowing anyone on the court anymore. Favors seems predictably improved, but not enough to start dominating, and the same goes for Hayward. They're all better than before, and they'll develop into decent to good starters if they keep it up, but nobody is standing out as a future leader for a meaningful playoff run. There's still a lot of season for it to happen, but one of the youth movement needs to elevate.
Yes, I know they aren't playing much, so its hard for that to happen. But three of them are in the rotation, and when they do make it onto the floor they seem to play about as good as their minutes say they are. Corbin's wrong to give Mo Williams the biggest share of possessions, and wrong to bench Burks. But isn't the bigger problem the lack of star power in the core?

In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

If he was in a classy organization like the Jazz, he would have been an all star last year.
The Kings are ruining Reke and I hope someone can take him and put him in a place that he can succeed.
Yeesh.
