I have always liked The Plastic Man aka Stacey Augmon. Is there a nickname that describes a player more accurate, than Augmon's. It was perfectly describes Augmon's game - the ability to twist his body in mid-air and make difficult layups/dunks with those long hands of his and also the way he could force turnovers and intercept passes.

An honorable mention to the hilarious, yet very accurate Marvin "Bad News" Barnes.

Best:The Truth, Pistol Pete, Big Ticket, Big Baby, and White Mamba

Worse:Black Mamba for giving himself the nickname. Seriously how hard would it of been for him to at least get one of his friends like CP3 to give it to him lol?

For a player that was said that he would play 0 minutes in NBA, what he did is still amazing. No, he was not a 0.

Half man half amazing was a great nickname. Air Canada was pretty solid too. AK47/The Dream/The Admiral were all fantastic. Bad porn is fantastic for hilarious reasons.

A good nickname means you immediately think of the player and his qualities when you think of the nickname and all of those fit. The CP3 type ones are just mediocre and meaningless.

Worst nickname has to be Black mamba. You cannot give yourself a nickname.

I think only a few Pistons fans will remember this but Mikki Moore was nicknamed Scrappy Dog, which I thought was pretty cool.

TylerTheDebater wrote:C-Webb, T-Mac CP3, and most of the other nicknames similar are terrible. CB4, AK47 are good because they reference something. C-Webb and T-Mac and CP3 are so unimaginative and boring. Chris Paul should change his number to 30 so he can be C3P0, which would be amazing.

Black Mamba is terrible because Kobe gave himself the nickname after watching Kill Bill. He gave himself the nickname. That's not a nickname, that's an ego trip.

From cp3 wiki page: During the second season of ESPN's It's the Shoes, Paul revealed to Bobbito Garcia that the "CP3" nickname came from family tradition. The combination of his initials and jersey number is strictly a coincidence. His father (Charles Paul) and older brother (C.J. Paul) are nicknamed CP1 and CP2, respectively. Paul also notes that all three men's initials are CEP."
