GT: Spurs vs. Pacers

Post#1 » by Nolan » Thu Nov 22, 2012 10:24 pm

When: 8:00 PM ET, November 23, 2012
Where: Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN

Starting Lineups:

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Gary Neal
SF - Danny Green
PF - Tim Duncan
C - DeJuan Blair

Pacers:
PG - George Hill
SG - Lance Stephenson
SF - Paul George
PF - David West
C- Roy Hibbert

Well its game 2 of our 6 game trip and its going to be against another tough eastern conference opponent.

The Pacers haven't been the same without Danny Granger but they've still been a very tough team. They have size and athletic wing players and we can't take them lightly.

Go Spurs!!

I have 10 bucks riding on the Spurs winning by atleast 4 points.

This should be a good game. Their home, both teams rested. The good thing is that Pacers don't play small ball. I'm still waiting to see how we're gonna counter when teams play small ball. It's gonna look ugly when we play Lebron or Durant. But we match up well againts Pacers even without a SF. I think we're more talented and we're currently playing better than they are. Pacers aren't a strong enough offensive team to really hurt our defense IMO.

Damn man.. I usually only bet 2 bucks every game. 10 bucks is 5x my normal bet. Can't imagine betting 3k. Not a good habit to have.

But hey, I'm sure you'll get your money. Spurs not losing this game...

I hope...

Can't just really blame Diaw. There's a lot of guys not playing well.

Splitter 15 minutes, 2 points, 2 rebounds, 1 turnover

Green 25 minutes, 2 points, 3 rebounds

Manu 16 minutes, 2-10 shooting.

Manu coming to life. Spurs down 6. We really need somebody to step up. Parker and Duncan is playing well. Everybody else needs to contribute something.

Great way to end the quarter. 4 point pacers lead now heading into the 4th. I thought this game was about to run away from us in the third. Body language was bad and had no energy.

Wow.. Spurs up two. Great time for our role players to show up. Danny and Neal brought it in the 4th. Pacers can't hit a thing.

lol me too..

DUNCAN was everywhere defensively on that one possession against West before that ticky foul - perimeter and paint and board

Impressive at Duncan's age, just still great and in shape

Tremendous comeback win and to go into Toronto

What a game. Parker and Duncan basically carried us by themselves until late in the 3rd. Then Manu carried us. And then the role players finally show up.

Did not expect us to pull it off after being down 17 I think in the 3rd. Damn...
