Swap out Melo for Sullinger, and I think it's a trade that would definitely be worth it for the Suns.

Bradley AND Sullinger? Along with picks? I seriously doubt Ainge would do that. Yeah, he'd strongly consider it, but I think he'd be better served waiting it out and seeing what happens with someone like Josh Smith.

Gortat/Rondo would be pretty sick. I like.

Ainge may not, but the fact that you're questioning the deal brings it a little more in line with fair value don't you think? It's like that phrase, in a good deal, both sides feel as if they've lost something. Melo has shown next to nothing so far. True, he's a big man whose game is going to be more reliant on technique and positioning, so he'd struggle more initially, but he's not really an asset other than being a young big right now. Gortat is a VERY good big, and a piece that could really solidify Boston's front line and bring them closer to the Heat. Based on Pierce and Garnett's age, it might be worth it.

Some are speculating that Gortat would garner more than what Boston is offering, imagine what Josh Smith on the open market would would get? Certainly more than Bradley and Sullinger....

Yeah. I think that's a terrible deal for OKC. Both now and for the future. OKC's model is built around young talent developing. If they were using the all-in model for the next two years, there's no reason for the Harden trade to happen. Seems counterproductive. And just seems like too much.

Taking on Perkins would require the Raptors pick, the Suns already have 2 late firsts and 2 2nd round picks in 2013.

Gortat is a better player than Josh Smith. It isnt Ainge who would question moving those guys for Gortat its the Suns. Why would they take back 2 players with role player ceilings for a big in his prime? The picks wont be that good either if Boston improves from the trade.

Words can't express how pissed I'll be if Danny trades Avery.

Not even worth it, Gortat isn't even that good.

Bradley and Sullinger beats OKC offer, specially if the additions are Perk and something from Boston to match the salaries. It comes down to picks. And I doubt Gortat is worth that much.

middle/late draft picks, Avery Bradley and Fab Melo = Marcin Gortat???

If he's really on the market the Suns can do a lot better than that for one of the better centers.

I'm sorry, but:
1. Gortat is better than Bradley
2. Rondo is a monster with offensively capable bigmen. A Rondo/Gortat duo>>>>>a Rondo/Bradley duo

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

He's a big and much more productive within a game than Bradley. Bradley is becoming a good asset but he is a role player at best and is an undersized combo guard. Guys got way too hyped up on him after that block he had on Dwade. Gortat is a consistent double double guy and an above avg shot blocker. Not sure why you wouldnt trade a guy thats gonna have to fight Terry, Barbosa, and Courtney Lee for minutes over a guy that will come in and take pressure off of KG.

I think you're either underestimating just how good the Celtics are with Bradley.

Now don't get me wrong, I'd love to have Gortat on the team but not at the expense of Bradley.

I don't view him as a potential franchise player, by any means, but I'd like to think that Bradley has shown enough potential to be a starter in the NBA.

If Celtics wind up with a rotation like:
Gortat, KG, Pierce, Lee, Rondo with a bench of Terry, Barbosa and Green I think C's will be fairly happy.

Please stop trying to inject Williams in any trade coming back to the Suns. It has been said a 100 times that he played colledge here and we would love to have him back.... that is a LIE!!! He is a tweener and we do.... not.... want.... him. We are already suffering and trying to work the tweener out of Beasly, why in the hell would we re-unite them?? They worked so well together the first time right?? no no no.

Celtics fans are being funny now. This is a rock solid 15 and 10 2blk type center we are talking about.

If you want funny you should see the Jeff Green for Gortat proposals on their board.

I went on the celtics board and wow.... do they overvalue their players. Some of them are only willing to let avery bradley go if they get an all star in return.

I would love to have gortat on the hawks. Its hard to get serviceable double double big men and espeically 1 that is on a bargain contract (only 7 mil salary) :o
