My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Is the most exciting play in basketball a dunk from the FT line or a Kyle Korver 3? His shot is definitely the most beautiful play.

Funny how we went on a run in OT, as soon as Josh fouled out....

You are seriously starting to look silly, man.

You forgive Al for his 1-10 at the free throw line because you want to look at the rest of the stat line. Yet you continue to harp on Each and EVERY thing you feel Josh does wrong. He shot 11-19 from the field, 4 blocks, 12 boards, 25 points, the team was CLEARLY better with him on the court.

The tunnel vision you display is kinda infuriating man.

As for tonights game, big props to Devin Harris as his stat sheet might not be impressive, he paid huge dividends. I still think he should man the bench to keep the offense going because right now, when Teague leaves the ball stops moving and we get nothing done.

I walked in from church, turned on the game and saw the game tied at 90 in OT. Al feeds Josh for a couple of buckets and we take a slight lead. The next two possessions Josh put up TERRIBLE jumpers instead of keeping the ball moving. We fall behind by four.

Josh fouls out, the ball movement resumes and we win the game.

Josh makes terrible decisions because he's trying to carry the team. In crunch time, he needs to stick with team ball, instead of 'Iso-Josh'.

He had an overall productive night, otherwise.

Josh is more talented than AL. I expect more from him. Is that wrong? Were you rooting for him to keep putting up 17 footers with 15 secs on the shot clock even if they way off the mark?

But we were lucky that Nene wasn't fully healthy, Serapin might've won us the game with his stupid play in the end

My point is you aren't a moronic troll that I usually just ignore their post. You actally offer good content, but your dislike of Josh Smith is so one sided and bias to the point that it makes you look like you are trolling.

What about the runs that ended and started when Josh got in the game? Those don't count? Look, the guy is flawed, and takes the occasional bad shot. So does EVERY OTHER PLAYER. Earlier in the game the Wizards went on a run as soon as Josh went off the court in two separate occasions.

My point is that you are too good to have THAT much bias towards one player to the point you ignore everything a player is doing to nitpick.

I love Smith, too, but he has to learn that he takes waaay too many bad shots. And, yes, Jamaaliver's right: Smith does hurt our offense by taking those shots ... and by taking them at dumb times.

Since the defense is leaving him wide open outside, he could take advantage to make passes - with no defender pressuring his pass attempt - or he could move closer to the basket until the defense came out to him. That way, he might be able to make a move past them or find someone who got open when the defense came to him. Whatever the case, he just has to stop taking the worst percentage shot in basketball. Other teams are game-planning to push him to take that shot, knowing he will.

A win gets us sole possession of the 2nd place.

I never thought that we'd be fighting with CHARLOTTE for 2nd place 10 games into the season

Teague and AL have been playing pretty great together of late.

With every passing game, I have to believe D Ferry comes to the realization that AL & Jeff are the real building blocks for this team.

Korver's proving his value as well.

EVERYONE else is expendable...

The way the flu is raging through our team, better hold off on the condemnations. Smith certainly looks as if he's suffering.

Besides, I've watched him refuse to take several long shots. He's trying.

I hate playing the Miami Heat, what with all the superstar calls they get.

....What do y'all mean we're playing Charlotte?

Don't be mad at me. Tell Josh to stop doing dumb things with the ball...
