Horford killed us. And we shot panic shots in the 2nd half way too much. Cats hung tough, but Atlanta played better. And they shot too well from the floor.

I couldn't believe they made it a two possesion game after all. But they should start to foul them, they were shooting 42.9% FT tonight and while some players were in foul trouble Mullens had 0 PFs, point guards both 2.

The 'Cats forced the Hawks into 21 turnovers and only committed 13 themselves. There wasn't a lack of effort, just poor defense in the paint tonight

We got beat by a better overall team tonight. Horford is one of the most underrated players in the league, and he destroyed us down low.

Lose one game, and people start acting like the Bobcats are perennial contenders

Lol, very true. Some people better get use to it. Our front court is abysmal, and I can easily see us going on a stretch where we lose 6-8 straight in January when Taylor and MKG hit the inevitable rookie wall.

I had to get up real early this morning, so I watched the second half afterwards. As usually - some thoughts on the game after you guys have already had it out of your system for hours:

There's no way I'd pay Josh Smith this summer, if I were Atlanta's GM. Let somebody else give him the max contract, dude brings much to the table, yet at the same time takes so much off it. Seems like he doesn't understand the concept of playing for a contract, it seems to me that he's taking those bad jumpers even more this year.

Horrible game by Mully and how random were those MVP chants!? I'll upload them to baffle other team fans.

MKG is still getting some unfair rookie treatment. It seems like every game he gets two rubbish personal fouls.

How the heck are we only paying Sessions 5 mil a year for these kind of performances? Ramon and JT (a shout out to him as well) really didn't want to lose last night, kudos to them for fighting until the end.

Am I the only one who gets scared after every nasty fall by MKG?

The way he carries himself when each play stops make it look like he's in pain.
