He was picked second. And remember that most Wizards fans wanted a shooter. We may have gotten the wrong shooter though (Harrison Barnes?).

Not a bad first half, all things considered. Nene looks good, Beal is at least doing some other things if his shot is still not falling.

Interested to see how we blow this one in the second half.

Beal with a poor shooting game, but I love everything else he's done in the game. His defense has been outstanding, and 4 boards and assists with a block thrown in is nothing to sneeze at either.

Nene is a stud (when healthy). He does so many little things outside of scoring that have a positive impact on the game.

Not sure we have a big enough lead to blow it. Pretty decent half but you can't let Gordon beat you. Livingston has no assists. Not what you want from your starting point guard. Make sure that Nene can play the final five minutes. If it's close, we have a shot.

Beal is atrocious at finishing at the rim.

I think root canals are more fun than watching this team.

Look at that schedule. The only possible win is Portland. Still not over yet. Then I watch Livingston completely botch a fast break. What does this guy do other than make 15 footers?

I'm not convinced this team has ever run a fast break in practice. Horrible execution. They look totally clueless.

Nene doing it again. Amazing the transformation that occurs when he comes into the game.

Nene is **** good. Too bad he can't stay healthy. Genius at passing the ball for a big man.

Randy saving up his Nene minutes tonight.

His cap was 20 last game. He has 12 mins going into the 4th quarter.

Hopefully the don't dig themselves a 10 pt hold in the 4 minutes he is out.

I hope this Vesely experiment is over. Singleton, while not ideal at PF, can easily cover those spot minutes EGs bust is getting.

Buck still can't tell the difference between Webster and Singleton.
