hammers: cats vs wiz

Post#1 » by fatlever » Sun Nov 25, 2012 3:28 am

good luck with these...

gold - mully, meh, somebody has to get the gold
silver - taylor, despite the boneheaded foul at the end, he was our best player most of the night
bronze - reggie williams, nod to coming off the bench, ice cold and hitting a go ahead 3 for the win.

huh, I'm going with the exactly same order. I thought nobody would pick Williams besides me.

Mullens - at least he was consistently mediocre at his shot selection and on the defensive end.
Taylor - the foul at the end of the 1st ot, cost him of a sure gold hammer.
Williams - just like you said, that was one heck of a clutch shot. If he doesn't hit that, we don't win. Although in that scenario, the Wiz would just probably find some other way of screwing up.

Gold: Kemba - made the game-saving and game-winning plays without having to make a shot. Mr. Intangibles
Silver: Mully - started out erratic but finished the game strong on both ends of the ball
Bronze: Gordon - finally broke thru his slump and hit a big clutch 3-point shot that helped us get to the 1st OT

Gold: Mully. Statistically had the best game, but also had flashes of good interior D at the end.
Silver: Kemba - saving the possession by throwing the ball off of Nene, offensive rebound on the missed Bobcats free throw are good enough to get him the silver.
Bronze: Sessions

HM: MKG, Taylor - both had very solid performances on both sides of the ball.
