This trade can't happen until dec 15th when lee/broy become available for trades. It improves the wolves dramatically in defense and doesn't impact our ability to reup pek next season.
was in: broy
was out: Ariza
Bos in: bell
Box out: lee
min in: lee
min out: rindour, roy, 3m
uta in: ridnour, 3m
uta out: bell
Why for UTA
They've been looking to move bell for awhile. This trade gives them a backup PG and cash that will pay most of his salary next season.
Why for BOS
They get out of Lees long term deal with bells expiring. Bell is a vet and might have enough left in the tank as a reserve on BOS's bench for the remainder of the season. Should save them 2m with reduced incoming salary and lux payments removed from that money.
Why for WAS
They get out of Ariza's contract next season with roys unguarenteed contract.
Why for MIN
backcourt is a mess, trades for two players who've played for adelman before and should fit the system. Both guys can play some 2/3 here. Ariza's best season offensively was in 09-10 in HOU and he's improved defensively since then. Both of these guys shoot the 3 ball better than our current hot mess of garbage. Leaves the wolves the contracts of steamer and dwill for upgrades in other areas of need. Rubio should be back on the court around this time too.

Re: WAS - MIN - BOS - UTA
You forgot to add Ariza to the Wolves.
I would do this. I like Ariza more then most though. This gives us some great depth, the only thing I would be worried about is being able to sign Pek/Bud in the offseason. We'd probably have to let go of both Steamer/Cunningham. If we could flip Barea for a cheaper backup then I would be all over this.

Bell is a terrible basketball player right now. I'm sure Boston will decline.
And Ariza isn't the shooter we need in case we make a move for a backup wing player.

Do we know Raja Bell is terrible? Courtney Lee has certainly been terrible in BOS, and he's locked in for 4 years.
BOS is about $2 mil over the lux, and this chops off $1.5. Maybe they also trade Fab Melo for a future 1st.
I guess I'm desperate enough to gamble on Lee because of his Adelman connections, but I'd certainly expect some type of compensation for taking on all that contract risk.

Well, Utah fans didn't seem to be too happy with Bell the last two years.

Yes from the Wolves!
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt

So we take on 12 mil of mediocrity? Yuck.

I'm with the others. I'm not sure if these players are worthwhile targets. Would probably need additional compensation to take on those contracts.
