half of the twolves team is dead and williams still cant get playing time/produce. he had literally the perfect opportunity to prove himself, or at least show he deserved being a top 2 pick. why are people even talking about him?

I've seen a number of talented young players fail playing in the wrong role^. To me Williams is a Jamison like player that's not getting the right development in Minnesota. In L.A. I think he could flat out be a huge problem for opposing defenses with his outside shooting, his transition quickness, ability to clean up if his guy helps out on the P and R.

His skill set fits both Laker bigs.

Don't know what to say.....I love Hill, but it's obvious D'Antoni doesn't like him because he prefers players with some sort of an offensive game

Jamison already has taken his spot as the 3rd big and I see that continuing ....Derrick Williams could be somewhat serviceable for D'Antoni,no necessarily this year but in the future, when Jamison retires

I can see him getting some burn this year too ,when Jamison is playing the 3 (or even him at the 3 )

D12 might walk next summer. If they trade Pau, wow, we would be in series trouble. I wait for a while. If they traded Pau, hope to get younger, get some #1 picks and get some money off the overall books.

Walk to where? Where is there a better situation besides in LA? Stop overreacting. Even if LA loses in the 2nd round he isnt going to dip.

Vlade wasnt an all star until 2001 his only appearance and what did fans complain for 7 days? Shaq was signed a week after Vlade was traded. You are so adamant about getting rid of Pau for anybody who is young. Have you actually watched Derrick Williams play for multiple games? There is a reason dude started 9 games and then got the DNP for 2 straight games then the most recent only played 11 minutes. The dude just isnt very good. I can see why guys would want to try Josh Smith for Pau (even though ATL isnt going to do that) but why would you trade Pau for a guy that isnt even going to be worthy of starting on a team riddled with injuries that couldnt produce when Kevin Love was out? I dont get it.

he was obviously leaving orlando, who said that? hes shown no signs that hes unhappy or unsatisfied with what hte lakers have done. theres absolutely no reason to think he will leave LA. even if we dont win it all, hes still in the best city to attract other talent, a franchise that has proven history of bringing in stars and winning titles. i have no worries about him re signing. not only would it hurt his image massively if he left LA after we traded for him, but it also doesnt make much sense. its not like he can still team up with paul, who i also highly doubt is leaving the clippers.

yes i do watch him play imma sports fan not jus a laker fan.. he put up 22pts 12reb an 3ast against pau last year buddy.. and a spin off pau reverse ally one hand dunk over kobe.. wish i can pull up the youtube vid to show but im still new posting here. so this isn't jus some random dude off the street.. an get your facts straight bro they tryna make him a small forward in there system an his natural position since AZ has been PF.. so he fell out. you cant judge a man on how well he plays in someone system.. thats jus not being a smart GM.
