Re: FFRL - draft complete
Well, I have been telling folks since about the 6th round of the draft that I needed to trade small for big.
I've also mentioned that I had too many SGs and Harden could be had...
I don't see why anyone wouldn't have had enough time.

I'm referring to your posts the last week or two. It's been one heck of a crazy last two weeks for me.

I'm really thankful for all those bench spots with all the injuries I have.

Re: FFRL - draft complete
I'm still looking for some more size.
Kyle Korver is on the block. He's a great source of 3s and chips in everywhere else. He's ranked top 50 according to yahoo. Top 70 according to Basketballmonster.
I'd love to keep him but, I just have enough 3s all ready, need those rebounds and blocks. If anyone is interested let me know, I'm willing to take a somewhat lesser ranked player in return if it's a guy I like.
If you prefer Mike Dunleavy instead that could be worked out as well, as I could just keep Korver in that case.

Korver still on the block. Great source of 3s and doesn't hurt you anywhere.
doubting if anyone even reads this, but, still looking to deal.

I'm reading this but as it is, 3's is the only category that I'm doing well in.

Because he's far too inconsistent to give you what I think you'll be expecting for him...

He's been quite consistent this year by my eye. Not sure what you are talking about.

Let's take the last 10 days
Nov 19: 5 points on 18% shooting
Nov 21: 16 points on 41% shooting
Nov 23: 16 points on 60% shooting
Nov 24: 8 points on 28% shooting
Nov 28: 8 points on 30% shooting
In that same period, his minutes fluctuate between as high as 44 and as low as 23.
I guess the only thing consistent about his numbers is he's up and down like a bell curve. (Incidentally the same bell curve applies to that 10 days before his last 10 days). So I guess you can count on him to be solid for a game or 2, and then in a mini-slump the following couple of games...

Re: FFRL - draft complete
Well, that's the nature of a 3pt specialist. The thing to look at is 3pt attempts and minutes. A low of 23 minutes isn't that big of a deal, he's getting consistent starter minutes. There is nobody on the team behind him set to take his minutes. He's playing well.
I think you are grasping at straws.
I'm not looking for a ton for him, just some blocks and boards. Robin Lopez was an OK offer, but, didn't give me the rebounds I was looking for. If Robin was giving me 7.5 rebounds with those blocks I would have pulled the trigger.

It was not a bad offer, but, like I said I need more rebounds from one of my starting bigs.
Was more about fit than value.

I could get Reggie Evans for him right now and get 8.6 rpg. So, I think it's not as crazy as you make it sound.
The problem is not getting the rebounds or the blocks, it's getting the rebounds and the blocks.
I do think Korver could help some folks in here though. But, it looks like nobody is that interested.

Sorry Wes, I don't mean to be rude because I quite respect you, but there's no "grasping at straws" about it. The numbers are pretty clear. When you score in the single digits 2 straight games after scoring in the double digits 2 straight games, and it's a trend that's apparent throughout this young season, that's the definition of inconsistent. However, I'll concede your point. You can consistently count on him for 3s. But by other standards, he's fairly inconsistent.
As for losing minutes, when he starts at SG, he's in the Atlanta logjam for guard minutes, and guys like Louis Williams, Morrow, and even Devin Harris eat quite a bit into his minutes. In fact, I'd like him a lot more as a sub, since then he'd anchor the bench unit in scoring. Louis Williams tends to fill that option now.
