US student loan debt is now higher than credit card debt, this is crazy and the cost of education has to come down.

Alot of my friends who have massive amounts of student loan debts are hoping Obama saves them. Meanwhile, this uneducated individual is stacking money and paying for school by working a 9 to 5 with financial peace of mind!

One day a chick came up to me at the Santa Barbara train station...
She sat next to me on the bench and told me that I looked like a young Richard Gere, and hinted basically that we could hang out on the train and make beautiful babies together...
She also asked which branch of the service I was in... Because I was wearing a Dickies Ike jacket... I chose to ignore that.
So we got on the train and she went to get something to eat and I didn't see her for a while. The train stopped in the middle of nowhere for a while and then got under way again. One of the people that was sitting next to me came back from the dining car laughing about someone getting kicked off the train...

You guessed it, 'my' chick went nuts and they threw he off in the middle of no where.

Fortunately, this wasn't the only time a chick thought I was attractive...

My proposal to lower student debt would be to make the semester system shorter.

There are procrastinators in those systems too still getting by. They should shorten those as well.

I believe it would do many things that would help the economy overall. Just to name a few... it would allow more students to go to school because they could add more sessions per calendar year. Second, I know plenty of people who also use student loans for food, transportation, housing etc. With the number of students increasing it would also make the nation overall more knowledgeable. The more informed people in this country, the better, in my opinion.

Also, just referring to college education. High school and lower levels should remain the same.

A lot of the east coast is semester still I believe (I know I am). I don't get how quarterly saves money... still takes 4 years. Still the same amount of time and pay. Its all about $$/hours.

i did quarters in high school, but also had semester and year long classes (usually two 1 semester courses of the same thing).

Not just jobs coming back but the pay needs to be back to fair levels so that graduates earn what they are worth and clear debts or save rather than live from one paycheck to another.

If schools charge so much for an education, they also need to update their curriculum to current industry demands. I studied VGA displays in graduate school engineering when the whole world was already running Hdmi.

There also needs to be more encouragement for students to take up courses that are worth their time like science and engineering, finance, management and law etc and not screw around with liberal arts and Spanish degrees.

Guess its pretty much a consensus that these women tend to be crazy. The woman in my case was a pharmacist, i think she was also sampling some of the goods.

Didn't be already erase interests on student debt? That was quite a gift in itself, like Romney said. Can't see how much more they can expect.
