Just got back from Toyota Center. Game was a lot of fun, but the crowd was a bit sedated for most of the night. I warned the nice ladies sitting next to me that I was going to be jumping out of my seat often and loudly during the game. They really got into it by the end of the game!
I was very impressed with our guys tonight, and I want to point out a few things that I noticed.
1) Lin came to play. I'm liking what I'm seeing from him these past few games. I knew that it would take a while for him and Harden to gel - and they aren't there yet, but they looked much more comfortable together on the floor.
2) Parsons, Asik and Patterson are stepping up big-time, taking a lot of pressure off of 713.
3) I don't know when Patterson added that 3-point shot, but as long as he keeps hitting it I say keep taking it!
4) Mook is a solid bench guy. I don't want to see this guy traded.
5) The group of teen girls sitting nearby me were absolutely in love with Chandler Parsons. They were booing in the rare times when he was taken out of the game and nearly blew my eardrums out when he came back.
6) Got a few people in my section to chant "Play the Rookies!"
7) I pretty much reacted like those teen girls when Motie got off of the bench!
8) Power Dancers looked really good, as usual. Sadly no nip-slips this time. Got a free RPD Calendar. Oh - and the cheer/dance squad is pretty underrated. They have some nice hotties in there and I don't know when it happened, but breakdancing is back.
9) I went absolutely nuts when Patterson attempted the Dream Shake! Everyone I was with was like "but he missed..." but that wasn't the point! I was screaming "SWAG!!!" too loud to hear any of them!
10) Speaking of Swag...I was a couple rows behind Morey and stuck around after the game to let the crowd thin out. When Morey got up and walked back a lot of the fans left were cheering for him. Dude was walking like he was Vince McMahon right out of the WWE Attitude Era! Dude was just like "I'm Daryl Morey, dammit!"
In a subtle, sad moment, during halftime a lot of us in the area were talking about Coach and him losing his daughter. A guy sitting nearby who was talking with us had his daughter with him - probably in her early teens. He just reached over and hugged her and she was all like "Dad...you're embarrassing me!" No one said anything. Everyone knew.

Seriously...I am so tied up in so many superstitions and curses that I don't even know what's what anymore.
If I don't watch the game, will the Rockets win? Or if I do watch the game and don't post will the Rockets win?
If I go to the game, and wear a red shirt will the Rockets win or lose...and does my seating factor into this?
If I don't watch the game but do check in on Twitter and someone gets hurt is it my fault? Should I have watched the game and avoided Twitter, or watched the game and live-tweeted my feelings???
YOU PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND THE PRESSURE THAT I'M UNDER!!!!
