If your team giving Gatorade showers for a 1-12 record that just tell you the full story of this organization.

the team lacks talent. wouldnt you be excited if you gained a win in a professional sports league, with a team not meant for professional sports?

i know I would!!!

I like Wittman and I think the players do, too.

Nothing wrong with Witt. He's dealing with a short hand in terms of team talent. But, in the end he'll fall on the sword.

Not quite as embarrassing as the streamers and confetti last year.

Na I like that. After seeing early signs of Wit loosing the team, it shows that they still fully support him.

 Yeah, wasn't that something, that lob almost went in and it would have been good.

I *think* if the lob had gone in without anyone touching it it would have been a turnover. It had to be tapped in -- of course that almost happened too.

Damn with fans like you guys how needs road games. I'm not saying this win cures all the wounds opened by this 0-12 stretch but y'all are a negative bunch. Damned if the do, damned if they don't.

That really is the message it sends.. Sad but true.. Ah well, least we get spared the embarrassment of the "ofer" record, which I figured we were on our way to setting.. The Izards got their W, Yippee! Now let Nene rest, get us a stand in GM to keep Ernie from further setting back the franchise and let the lottery tank roll on!

I'm actually sad / disappointed they won. It's so much more fun cheering for a historically bad team than it is watching a really really really bad team.

Also, i want them to lose every game until Ted realizes this product is complete dog crap and EG needs to be fired.

He's been marked present for each game. Appears to be pretty tall for a person. May or may not have killed Jarvis Hayes and drunk his blood to inherit his basketball powers. Not really a bright spot.

Just got back from the game. This was an awesome win! The Wizards have zero people who can score. It is sad when your only scoring option is JC, who loves circus shots. I don't get it. He drives to the hole and then does a fade away to the side. Each time it was obvious he was going to miss it. The Wizards did EVERYTHING in their power to loose the game. Fortunately they had a big enough lead to weather to storm. It was crazy seeing the comeback from 15 points down. The Blazers would execute the play and then have a wide open shot. This was different than the Wizards who would dribble the ball down court and give the ball the JC, who appeared to be playing H.O.R.S.E. by himself. One cool thing is that their passing was crisp at times tonight.

I have to give game balls to
1. AJ Price. He might suck, but he was yelling at the team to run plays. It was great seeing him motion to the other players and forcing them to run around....I hope Wall brings that intensity and intellect.
2. The Crowd was great. There was no one in the 400 section, but the 100's were arockin.

My suck award does to Beal.
Mark this down: 11/28/2012...Unless this kid grows 3 inches OR he develops a jumpshot...he will be a BUST.
I've been to almost every home game and every game he gets denied driving down the lane. It's kindof comical now. He should have stayed in school (but I would have come out with the 3rd pick too). If he stayed another year...his stock would have dropped BIG TIME. He has no moves and he can't finish.

I don't care what anyone says...I've seen plenty of 1-2 year college players who looks decent...Beal does not. His leading the team in scoring is a aboration. I really want this kid to succeed and I hope I'm wrong....but he is just not great.

It's like when you go to a 5 star restaurant. You order some dish that you think will taste great, but when you get it, it is horrible so you are too embarrassed to say it taste like hot garbage. You overhear the table next to you telling the waiter to food is bad and you decide to speak up to....the order goes back to the kitchen and you're impression is confirmed they used bad ingredients. Beal just does not pass the smell/taste test.

Just a few more thoughts on Beal.

You know a good baller when you see one....you should not have to go to advanced stats to prove otherwise (I am a Econ/Eng so I believe in money ball).

I have yet to see him go on a shooting run. 3..4..5..shots in a row. Shooters get hot...nothing 11 games in.

Special is special...nuff said. Even Anthony Davis had ONE great game.

Beal is lost, Lebron came into the league young and he had no fear.

When I was younger, I used to ball a lot. We never cared how old or how good our opponents were. I balled against D1 guys and I'm barely JV and I didn't care.

Also ask yourself this...knowing what you know now, would he be drafted in the top 10 this year? Next year?
Would his deficiencies cause his stock to go up or down? Would he fix his problems in college?

I just want him to give me one game...ONE

I don't know what's worse, watching the 16-0 run or some of the people on the board rooting for "their" team to lose. WGAF if they gave Randy a Gatorade shower? He's dealing with some horrendous players and a rotten GM and a sh-tty owner who only cares about the bottom line.

Congrats Wiz. We somehow won this game with a sub-par performance from Nene but a quality defensive performance. Just keep giving effort every game.

Beal will get it. It might not be till post-all star break, but he will start showing flashes, for sure.

Back to the game itself, i turned it off at half time and just went back and watched the 2nd half. If Ariza plays like that, we will win games. Not just hitting shots, but actually playing with effort. Same goes for Okafor, I dont think effort is a big problem with him, but he had a decent game changing shots and grabbing boards.

I may have missed some Beal action, but he hit a couple of sweet looks. He got a drive to the basket blocked, but i think he will learn how to get his shot off over bigger more athletic players, or get the foul.

My god, we do not get the calls, even when we are winning :| Nene's drive in the last 30 seconds of the game was a clear blocking foul. In the 3rd, i think, Okafor got done for a block on what was a clear charge. The refs (and the Wiz themselves) did everything they could to make us lose. Thank god we finally got that huge, stinky, annoying monkey off our backs. Now we can go back to losing games and setting ourselves up to get Muhammed or Poythress.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.
