..avery bradley aint saving this team.

there is no team that is scared to play the Celtics right now. and that is a problem.

Revisionist history? Why do people forget how bad we started last year?

how many years can you have a 'miraculous comeback?'
jeremy lin brought the knicks back from obscurity last year becuase teams didnt scout him. they do now and hes really stuggling.
do you think avery is going to surprise teams this year?

Thank you Doc !! Called the team soft with no toughness. If they don't take that personal then nothing can save them. Straight calling the team soft.

Question - What did you tell them at half?

Doc - That they were soft. That's it!

Lol...so true.

im not sure calling them soft to the media is the right thing to do. It's obviously not as bad, but this team has a similar taste to Doc's last with Orlando.

I remember a Knicks game 2 years ago when Doc called the team soft at the half when the Celtics were down around 17 points or so only to come back and win that game. Hopefully the players take this personally because I know Kg was last time.

Doc doesn't sugar coat it. Doc tells it like it is. Calls his team soft and they don't come to play. Gotta love it. He is right!

No team was scared to play the Celtics last year. Fact is, the Celtics will do this game in and game out before the all star break. Sorry bro. The time to be scared of the Celtics is the playoffs. Not now.

NEW JERSEY just wanted this game more---they looked like they were moving at Twice the speed as us----and we STILL could have won...But, by the time we actually cared about this game---the cat was out of the bag...letting a CAREER Scrub like Reggie Freakin Evans PUNK us like that.....Hell, we could use BEN WALLACE right now.

not much good to take from this game; we lose; rondo probably gets suspended plus his assist streak ends; green gets hurt; lee gets hurt; wilcox is sick. man, the leprechaun shat all over us tonight. glad to hear that doc called them soft because they are. but you have to wonder about this team that danny put together and whether these parts really fit. I was excited by terry and green and lee etc but green and lee are both busts offensively lee and it's pretty clear that pierce has lost step if not two. that more than anything concerns me and makes me wonder if danny did the right thing trying to squeeze more life out of kg and pierce. maybe ray saw this coming and opted out. there's certainly a LOT of room for improvement but we look like dog doo right now. just a bad team.

Then what was last year's 5-9 start and 15-17 record at the All-Star break?

You mean when they made it to the ECF and took Miami to 7 games?

Look; the Celtics aren't playing very good basketball right now. No one is going to deny that. But this whole "Doc is losing this team" thing is stupid.

Plus, this is the same C's team that just took it to OKC. There is obviously a TON of potential here. Be patient.

It's going to be an up and down season until a point when we go on a roll. Maybe a West Coast trip or something will help them out because right now they are playing with no energy at home.

Yeah. This season is certainly going to cause a ton of gray hairs on this board, but if the OKC game is any indication, this team DOES have it in it to play elite basketball. We might just have to wait a little bit for it to really "click."
