Can play with or without the ball in his hands, can face up and drive while also having a smooth jumper and pairs that with good defense and rebounding. Fantastic player, he's made me a huge fan of his.

Shaq comes around on Bosh

Ira Winderman | Sun Sentinel

MIAMI— RuPaul has left the building. Or, more to the point, Shaquille O'Neal no longer sees the need to drag out the issue anymore.

The former Miami Heat center has come around on current Heat center Chris Bosh. While Bosh does not match up to Shaq in stature, O'Neal said it is time to give credit to a player currently mastering the new age of big men in the NBA.

"You know, I just had to realize that not every big guy plays like a big guy," the TNT and NBA TV analyst said this past week in an off-air conversation. "He's mastered this niche."...

... "He's a fabulous player, and he came back after missing a couple of weeks last year and actually helped the Heat win," he said of the Heat barely surviving Bosh's playoff injury absence. "And so, this style of play that the centers are adapting to now, he's one of the best. He's mastered this style.

"I mean, me, as a big man, I like big guys to play physical, but if you have the ability to step out, shoot the jumper and make it, and stretch the defense, and it helps you win championships, then that's what you do."...

Chris Bosh will likely end up in the Hall of Fame. He's up there with James Worthy as one of the all time great 3rd options (who transitions into more of a 2nd option over time). Just a great, great shooter who's also an excellent slasher and a very good defender. He also has basically no ego, which is almost unheard of in someone with his talent level.

love bosh since his rookie season when id watch toronto games (cause vince was my fav player). if only hed show some more hustle on the boards hed be for sure the best pf in the league. dirk can shoot better but he cant defend or attack as good as bosh. bosh can pretty much do anything you ask of him besides average 10+ boards a game lol
