Josh Johnson on the FAN tomorrow morning

According to Mike Cormack:

Reminder that #bluejays Josh Johnson will be a guest on Brady & Lang on @FAN590 tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. ET.

Apparently Buehrle will be making an appearance too (not sure what time)

if buerhle is gonna be on i hope it's with blair (aka aged matthew perry) since he's probably the best interviewer on the entire FAN network

Oh man Brady and Lang are the worst interviewers on the Fan 590. Strange how none of the
new Jays have been interviewed yet or that there was a press conference for them.

Yeah I was surprised they haven't brought them all the new guys together for a press conference yet.

Well there are number of reasons why they haven't had a presser yet.

1) All the players are on vacation right now with family. No need to waste their time with their families for an hour long presser

2) AA is not done dealing. He might make more trades or signings. better to have all the new players in one presser.

3) One of these players might be flipped for something else.

1. We had the Grey Cup stuff going on all week
2. AA is getting ready or is already away for the GM Meeting on Monday
3. The Jays never been big on press conferences to introduce a player or coach. I can only recall three under AA; Farrell, Gibbons and the Bautista extension.

i realize the magnitude for a trade like this doesn't come around too often, but when do teams (of any professional sport for that matter) ever hold press conferences to introduce newly traded-for players?

even the dodgers-red sox deal in the middle of the season didn't have any introductory pressers. just the front office of the respective teams holding court with the media, much like AA did. press conferences that feature players are more for free agent signings than trade acquisitions. i mean, does anyone ever remember the last time the jays held a press conference to introduce a player they just traded for? i can't recall when that's happened to be honest.

either way though apparently both johnson and buerhle are holding teleconferences with the media today.

I agree that Brady and Lang are pretty bad, but while Blair is more knowledgeable and asks better questions, I can't stand his nasally UHHHHHH at the beginning or middle of every other sentence or question.

Jeff Blair is knowledgeable and does asks good questions,
Brady and Lang, I just don't like their schltick
Sid and Tim........can't stand them, can't stand their intro music..them seem very juvenile/high schoolish
McCown...he's good maybe the best but can't stand his phoney bad-ass personality

IMHO...the real hidden gem is Mike Hayes on TSN
