 I feel like I should hate D'Antoni for refusing to play him and destroying our greatest trade chip we had with his 20M expiring. But then I watch this interview, piss my pants off laughing, and understand why D'Antoni wanted no part of him:

All I know is you start a thread about "oral history" and two posts later slipped in a "hardon".

I remember people comparing Fields to Roy & Gallo to Dirk.

Man, I've been a lurker for a long time; probably since '02-'03. I've seen a lot of posters come and go, some of whom were very memorable.

- DSN (DikembeSayNo): From what I remember, he was one of the firsts to have a "source." Him and his buddy GKF.
- Richard Hutnik: board game creator. I could be wrong, but I remember him being very sensitive when arguments arose and would leave at months at a time only to re-emerge eventually.
- Krokrony (or something like that): one of the first really memorable, really annoying posters. The dude would create like 10-15 new threads a day, some of which were so completely absurd and unneeded.
- Dr. Harvey: I remember when he first started posting, he created an introduction thread and everyone welcomed him with open arms. But his posting style and commenting began annoying the heck out of the majority of the board and he stopped posting.
- Jazz(FU): Back then, when there were arguments, each side disputed their perspective respectfully. He was such an intelligent poster. Even if he disagreed with someone, he wouldn't resort to insults or "u mad, bro?" comments. There was a period from like '04-'06, somewhere around that time, which I consider the "golden era" simply because of its posters like: Matchman, Powerforward99, TheBluest, Majorleads, H20, PornDoc, and others that I'm forgetting. Posts were more detailed and went into depth. It's funny b/c there were comparison threads back then too (Spreewell vs Houston for ex.), but I don't remember it ever turning into wars or to the point where people were on separate sides.

This board really goes through cycles. There's always an influx of new members, and with that, you'll get the occasional trolling poster, intelligent poster, etc. Just enjoy it and remember, it's basketball, so it's all good.

I'm still posting but mostly lurking. Yeah, you always figured it out and would blow my cover after like 10 posts lol, until I asked you not to... which you didn't, UNTIL NOW

Rasho, you like to reference me a lot dude and quite honestly I have no idea what your problem is. I don't even remember you yet you've been insulting me for a while now. I'm not here for any arguments. If that's your MO, cool, but that's not me. I am just here to talk basketball. And current events. But mostly basketball. See you around. :)
